Hotels near Zhu's Garden, Jianshui

I booked a duplex family room for a Chinese New Year trip. It was very comfortable. The attic was very solid and made no noise. The boss and his family are very nice and enthusiastic. They helped us book small train tickets and also helped us find a temporary driver (it was difficult to find a driver during the Chinese New Year) to charter a car to Yuanyang to see the rice terraces. The inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, diagonally opposite the Zhujia Garden. There are several famous restaurants in front of the inn, which is very convenient for eating. A few steps away is the Ancient City Pedestrian Street, where you can basically walk to the scenic spots.

The hotel is in a beautiful old mansion, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The inner courtyard especially was gorgeous, with blooming flowers in January. It's located right in the center of the old town, next to one of the main attractions, the Zhu Family Garden. It's very quiet and cosy. The mattress was nice and firm, and there was lots of hot water with good pressure in the bathroom. The owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a huge room with a living room, which we loved! Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very unique, the public area is very warm and comfortable, suitable for relaxation. The room is clean and tidy, although not big, but also comfortable. The hotel is quiet, the housekeeper is very friendly, you can find them if you have any questions. Breakfast is also a local specialty rice noodle, which is very suitable for leisure and vacation.

The inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

We drove to Jianshui. The front desk staff Xiao Tian and Xiao Yang received us very enthusiastically. They asked us about the arrival time in advance and directed us to the parking lot. When we checked in, we upgraded the room type for free. The room facilities were unexpectedly good. The face towels, bath towels, etc. were all disposable items, which was very worry-free. The floor-to-ceiling windows are suitable for daydreaming and drinking tea. In the afternoon, there is a delicate stove to make tea. The breakfast is also full of care. I have to praise the hotel's self-made travel guide and travel suggestions, which are comprehensive and detailed. 👍 It is not an exaggeration to describe the hotel layout as ”one step, one scene”. I will come again next time ✌️ Finally, the hotel is located. It is very convenient to go out to the ancient city street.

Every year when I go to Jianshui, I always choose Hanlinyuan. It has a courtyard style and almost all rooms are suites. It is spacious and quiet in a busy city. I highly recommend it! The increase during holidays is also reasonable at around 1,200 yuan, and it is around 500 yuan for regular stays.

I fell in love with the hotel at first glance and was pleasantly surprised when I went there. It is a renovated traditional old building with three entrances to the courtyard. The design is exquisite and antique. I booked a twin room. The room was very large and comfortable to sleep on. The public space is large, and the boss is happy to chat and drink tea with the guests. The landlady and a sister are very nice. The breakfast is delicious. The carefully cooked red date porridge and red rice noodles are more delicious and cleaner than those on the street. Plan to come again if I have the chance.

Location is very near Zhu’s Garden. Room is clean and comfortable. The bosses are very warm and hospitable. Lady Boss Xiao Jin also prepared barbecue tofu and tea for us. Breakfast was delicious too! Jin also shared with us on the local attractions. Will stay again.

The owner is very friendly and was easy to communicate with (via translate app). We got a great room with private bathroom. Whilst the bed is a bit hard en the toilet off the squad type, that is to be expected in this part of Asia. We had a great stay here as it was just a short walk from the lively old town centre. Would definitely recommend this place to other western traveler’s. The other guests were welcoming to us and some spoke some English with us. Oh there is free drinking water from the ancient well, hot water and the owner shared a lot off fresh fruit with us. Thank you for the great stay

near the tourist train station. walking distance to the ancient city. overall it's good but only complaint I have is the smoking...the lobby allows people to smoke and also at night I think I can smell smoke in my room.
