Everything was just wonderful. We arrived there and the staff was very polite and helpful. She immediately showed us to our room. The room is amazing.  there is everything that you need and more. Very nice smelling shower products, mirror with build in light. The place is very quiet. It’s a 5 minute walk to the city. We definitely recommend this place!

We loved that the hotel is located in the perimeter of the old town, in a quiet and private location. The owner was very helpful with our questions. The hotel was perfect for our family, spacious room and our son was happy to have his own room. The old city is one block away and the path is lush and gorgeous along the whipping willows. Gorgeous!

Exceptional all round. Very friendly owner and great service. Helpful with taxis and breakfast (Chinese style only but tasty). Very high standard all round. Would highly recommend.

It was a comfortable two night stay. I caught a cold and spent a lot of time lying down in my room, but the hotel is located outside Shaxi Ancient Town but is easily accessible. I used an interpreter to communicate, but the hotel owners and staff were very kind and booked a shared taxi to Lijiang for me (80 yuan, the same price as from Dali).

The room type I chose was the cheapest, but it didn't affect the experience of staying there at all. Outside the window was a sea of ​​holly flowers, and because it was on the edge of the ancient town, the view was wide open. The car couldn't reach the ancient town, so I had to carry my luggage myself, so I felt it was better to stay at the edge (not compared to the shops in the town that charge over a thousand for room). It's within ten minutes from the ancient theater and Yujin Bridge. The moderate distance gives you a wide view and cost-effective supporting services. It's a pity that I only stayed there for one night. Don't just stay in the ancient town, go to the Pioneer Bookstore on the other side of the river and the He Family Garden. They are both very good, but the Mid-Levels Coffee is a bit mercenary, and it's annoying even if there are succulents all over the house... By the way, there's also a very stylish place to eat pizza and drink wine, it seems to be called Chun Twelve, it's very close to where I live, and the boss is an interesting ******* guy...

A very quiet place with ancient town B&B. Very close to local residents. Good health services and location. I like the morning and evening sunshine in the B&B the most. The warm light looks so comfortable!

I stayed in many homestays along the way. I really liked the warm air in the bathroom of this one. The yard is clean and beautiful. Parking is available. It is not far from the village gate. It feels really good in Shaxi.

The environment of the inn is good, the room facilities are OK, and you can park in the yard. However, the roads in and out of the inn are difficult to travel. One is a one-way stone road, which is difficult to pass by other cars, and the other is a rural dirt road with many potholes.
