Swiss Star Zurich Airport - Self Check-IN Reviews

I stayed at the hotel just one night, it's a excelent local for go to the airport, very close you can walk around 20min. Recommend.

The hotel is about 20 minutes walking from Zurich airport. Check in is via code after email registration, no staff available. The rooms are large and the bed comfortable for a good night sleep, clean bathroom and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel

We had lots of problems in our room, with a shutter that didn't open, a TV that didn't work, lots of kitchen utensils missing, etc. Unfortunately the staff and the helping desk didn't solve the problem within our 3 days there. A positive aspect is the location (very close to the airport - you can even walk) and the self check-in scheme).

Conveniently located with bus stops within walking distance. Buses to the airport are plenty and frequent. Very near Migros, Coop, Denner. The studio that we stayed in was clean, had a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Check in was easy but make sure you fill out the email that was sent to you to get the code for self check in. The check in machine is just outside the apartment block. Key in the code to get room code and room number. Stayed 2x at this apartment.

Room was clean with a big terrace. Location is perfect for my business trip. Check in was not complicated.

Staying at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. It started with the lack of parking, which was never mentioned when I booked. When I contacted customer service for assistance, they were completely unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my situation. This left me with no choice but to book another hotel in the middle of the night—at 3:00 a.m., to be exact! Imagine the stress and inconvenience I had to endure simply because of the hotel’s lack of care and professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. If you value comfort and good service, look elsewhere!

Stay was really good.Room has all the facilities in it . had some difficulties in checkin , but it was sorted easily .

Standard hotel room with best price. The parking fee was quite expensive though.

Great location near to airport close to shops and amenities. Very friendly indian cafe downstairs great food. No hassles booking

The Apartment is relatively near to the airport & comfortable for a night sleep before morning departure. Just that we got to the apartment too late, there is no hot water when tried to shower and the water was freely cold… maybe the apartment should look into this. Otherwise, recommended for anyone with the need for an overnight stay.

Pro: 1. Nice room, clean 2. Spacious for 2 pax 3. A lot of plug point. Cons: 1. No kettle provided 2. No air conditioning. Required to let the window open to cool down the room since we stay during summer.

The hotel has no staff after 03:00 pm; they don’t provide clear information about checkin process and parking arrangements. They transferred us to the wrong room where the accommodation was already booked by others; then downgraded our accommodation for 2 people instead of 4. Terrible. To avoid at all cost!

self check in is terrible, we were lucky to find someone who helped us, we couldnt log in, we thought we were going to sleep in the street, when we got there there was a family in the same situation:/ that made us feel super insecure about the place, didn’t get the room i booked, etc
