The three-star Mercure Karpacz Skalny hotel is located at the foot of the picturesque Karkonosze Mountains, just 328 yards (300 m) from the city center. The hotel has 146 newly renovated, comfortable en-suite rooms with Internet access, satellite TV and a telephone. The restaurant serves regional, Polish and international dishes. Hotel guests can also make use of the Wellness&Fitness Center with its indoor pool, barbecue area, children's playground and large car park.

We've been coming to the area for years and decided to check out this hotel which only opened last year. In short, it's amazing! Located directly above the small town of Szklarska Poreba it's a bit out of the way for most tourists but that's fine with us. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The spa area is spacious and you can find bathrobes and slippes in your room. We choose the half board and the breakfast and dinner buffets were very tasty and no wishes were left open. We had a mountain view superior suite with 2 bathrooms and a very large balcony - amazing views and an amazing room. Two minor complaints are that the balcony does not have any railings between the rooms and everybody can walk up right to your windows and look into your rooms. Also, there is not enough parking space, you should definitely book that in advance. We loved our time there and will definitely be back. Radisson members get free water bottles in their rooms, so it might be a good idea to join.

A place with potential, but with numerous shortcomings that are essentially disrupting your stay. First, an additionally paid unguarded parking near the property. At such location the resort should be included in the price of the room. No information about a paid parking at your phone reservation. In the bedroom unfolded sofa with extra bed, which dissolves significantly deteriorating sleep quality. Total failure. A very loud oven that switches at night, noises sleep disturbing. The fireplace/case in the room, so advertised in the offer, requires extra purchase of wood (!) - no information about this at the time of booking. The kitchenette is very poorly equipped- contrary to the description on the website. The room cleaning and towels exchange only after 4 days of stay (!). The bathroom bath is severely bitten by the tooth of time, it requires definitely renovation or exchange. The room has a balcony with a view directly to the nearby windows of the buildings across from the room. It is not true that the information from the website that you can admire views from the balcony, unless you mention views of the children's playroom or guest room checked in front of you. The pool-saun complex with potential, but surrounded by a huge number of children, is a terrible harmider and chaos. A good solution to praise is the pool only for adults from 20.30. During our stay, however, the pool was temporarily closed due to alleged accident or pollution- we did not receive any compensation. Some of the ladies in the reception are very unfriendly, decent Italian restaurant, we're not going back anymore.

Unfortunately, my wife and I were a little disappointed in our stay. Hotel 4*, but many things were not very nice to us. Services at a poor level: cleaning room was only about possible switching towels and emptying the trash and ashtray (dirty mirror in the bathroom has not paid attention to any of the girls in favour for 4 days; Empty coffee cups have been lying in the room since the first day; the glasses have not been replaced or washed). There is certainly no kettle and tea in the room (this is probably the standard in 3*). There were often no warm meals (egg, sausages); sometimes already at 9.30 where breakfast lasts until 10th. There was one socket in the room (a little if everyone has their phone). During the check-in there was no nice surprise - someone took the massage service and the bill was added to our room. Fortunately, it was very easy to explain - signature under The account was completely different. With the pluses that surprised us, this beautiful garden and climate decoration (the question of taste because not everyone needs to like it). In summary, the amount of ”failings and stuttering” is not acceptable to us, The hotel offers nothing extraordinary that might have a bad impression on the above issues. Moreover, if someone is not a hot mountain tourist, there will not be too much tourist attractions in the area (up to 30km).

Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, which offers regional and European dishes. A wide range of drinks is available from the bar and can be enjoyed on the terrace. Guests can also play billiards at no extra charge. Nowa – Ski Spa Hotel is situated in a quiet location at the foot of the Księża Mountain and is surrounded by forests. The nearest bus stop is 500 metres away. The property offers its own transport to ski lifts.

Nice hotel but not a 5 star experience. Considering the price I paid it’s really hard to forgive. Welness is beautiful so was the room. But the hotel service is really bad. Few examples: No one helps you with the luggage… Some staff barely speak English… Official hotel app - nice but only in Polish language and the staff is not responding to any queries from the app. Room service is not working - i tried to call but the room service number was turned off, therefore I tried to reach the reception but no one answered the phone. At last I tried to use the official hotel application but no luck either so we ended up with no room service. I had to get up and go personally to the lobby bar to get my order. Bartender looked like I am bothering him…This is unacceptable. Last but not least I paid the hotel receipt in the app and to my big surprise I was asked during the check out to pay whole bill again. I had to specifically show that I paid already in the app. Your staff doesn’t work with the official app? To sum it up. By Friday afternoon hotel became overcrowded and there was a lines everywhere. Dinner experience was really bad because we had to eat at provisional dinning area made from the conference room. So was the case in the Saturday morning. I understand that you are trying to serve all the clients. But we had trouble walking through the crowd to get some food - not a 5 star experience at all. There were many people from the apartments - much cheaper accommodation than in the main building but with full access to all services. - this is so wrong because hotel facilities are not prepared for so many people. In my opinion you should build another dining area for these people so it’s not overcrowded and maybe also limit the time they can use wellness facilities, if you don’t do something about it, it just ruins the experience to people who are paying for the 5*. We enjoyed our stay mainly because the hotel is suitable for the families with small children. We loved the wellness and our room but there were many issues which we wouldn’t expect in this category.
