The hotel is located close to the Ito downtown, we were driving so it wasn't an issue. There are plenty of parking at the hotel. The ryokan is well maintained, it doesn't feel old, the onsen are properly modernized and clean. The room is HUGE which, with many functional areas, it was very pleasant room. There is also a private onsen as well for family or couples for a small fee. The private onsen has a good traditional style to it and it was open-air . There are also a chair for old people and toys for kids, so it's well thought out. Many people seems to like to have their dinner at the private eating room on first floor, so we did the same. They had one service person per 2-3 rooms maybe so we were well serviced, and the guy was very nice. I remember meeting him for dinner, and he realized we can only speak English, so the next morning when we met him again for breakfast, it looks like he made note in his notebook so he can properly introduce the dishes to us in English. I could feel the dedication so thank you to the man.

We are group of 5 all first time visit to Atami! This ryuken has given us one of the best experience in any of the onsen hotel. The service is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! Absolutely recommend this place!

We arrived at the hotel very late and were worried that there would be no dinner (Japanese people have an early dinner time), but the hotel staff immediately arranged for us to have dinner in the restaurant without making us wait too long. The dinner was very delicious, and we could have ice cream and coffee in the lobby after eating. The hotel staff was very welcoming and it was no problem to make an appointment for a private bath tomorrow morning. After dinner, we went to soak in their hot springs. There were basically no people in the women's bath and the outdoor area was also good. After soaking, there was a massage chair outside to sit on, so it was not boring to wait for your partner to finish soaking 😆

The service and environment are first-class, the accommodation experience is very satisfactory, a hotel with a great sense of design, and the food is very aesthetic and rich. I will definitely meet you again next time I have the chance.

An old hot spring hotel with very considerate service. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room, hot and cold water are prepared, the shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes, and the check-in is served by the waiter kneeling while sitting on the sofa. There are 2 pools for men and women in the hot spring, which rotate for half a day. There is one outdoor pool that feels the most beautiful, suitable for viewing red leaves in autumn. It is a 10-minute drive from Ito Station, halfway up the mountain. I also caught up with the saxophone performance on Friday night, which was very romantic.

Ladies can choose the color of their yukata and belt. The waitress at the hotel also helped me tie a bow belt. The food is exquisite and delicious. It is delivered to the room. The room is large and clean~ But I always feel that the kaiseki cuisine is not enough, so I just soak in instant noodles🍜 Bathing is basically reserved by one person. The men's and women's baths are exchanged every day. The open-air bath with a mountain view is very beautiful during the day~ The other open-air hot spring with a garden view is more suitable for soaking at night, with a full atmosphere

There is a shuttle bus to Ito Station. The hotel is very new and clean. I will stay there again next time👍

This hotel is very Japanese, with Japanese-style services, Japanese-style accommodation, Japanese-style meals, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and is very warm.

Single occupancy is more than 700, the king of cost performance! The environment is very good, there are many hot springs to soak in, and there is also a Japanese-style courtyard. Shuttle bus to Ito Station. If you take a taxi, Ito Southeast is very convenient, 1kmmp

The hotel is on a mountain. It has to climb uphill. It is difficult to walk to the hotel from the station. Taxi is not available. The hotel only provides free shuttle bus from Ito Station. An old hot spring hotel with old hardware and facilities, but very clean and good service. Free pastries and matcha are provided, and the scenery is pleasant. There was nothing to eat without a reservation for dinner. There was nothing to eat around the hotel and Izu Minami Station. We had to go down the mountain and take JR to eat at the beach at Ito Station. There is a 24-hour supermarket at the foot of the mountain, which is quite good. Recommended for self-driving and chartered cars.
