We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and liked its location. Staff are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the daily room cleaning and reset. The best feature of the hotel is that it is well situated to explore Istanbul and is about a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet Square where you will find many of the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line station very close to the hotel and it is a short walk to Sirkeci metro station. It was a good base for us as we checked out the areas across the water. It is a little far from both airports with each taking about 1.5 hours to get to but we felt the location was worth the time. The room's decor was a bit aged but charming. The beds were comfy and you can get extra pillows here. The room ran a bit warm during our stay but it was a bit noisy outside with frequent tram trains and restaurants below so we kept the window shut. They do have air conditioning and a radiator but we felt the AC wasn't worth turning on during a cool stay in December. Our neighbours were a bit noisy and it kept my wife up but I had no issues sleeping. It was moderately inconvenient when the restaurant decided to pop their new year's eve decorations at 1 in the morning. The bathroom was good and clean with good shower pressure, soft towels and we appreciated the warming rack for the towels. They provide soap and shampoo in dispensers in the shower. The breakfast was decent enough to start the day. They had enough to do a Turkish style breakfast and most options were pretty light. They had some hot items like sausage, scrambled eggs and other options that changed daily. They also had an area for cold items like cheese, labneh, yoghurt, vegetables and some cold cuts. They had a limited selection of fruit with some oranges and apples. They also had coffee, tea, juice and water. I had an early check out on my last day and they made me a nice bagged lunch to go to the airport with and have me a big can of juice which was very nice. The hotel provides bottled water for guests as well as lots of tea for in room use. The hotel has a restaurant on site and a small outdoor patio that is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. They have some spa and massage treatments that you can book at the front desk. There are quite a few bath, restaurants, shops and other experiences nearby. People in the area are very friendly, welcoming and will invite you into their shop or restaurant...frequently.

The location is very good that a lots of area of interests are within walking distance. A lots of transportation to choose from, trains, tram and bus are also available. Nice breakfast and paid meals are also good.

The facilities are complete, the room looks clean, the breakfast is OK, and it is close to the surrounding attractions. The only drawback is that the noise from the surrounding rail transit and other guests in the corridor at night is really loud.

Good Turkish breakfast, Swedish salt from 7.30. But there is a peculiarity with visiting the hamam and sauna! You need to sign up! Sessions are 40 minutes for 2 people. It is not easy to sign up, it is better to do it in advance.

We arrived at the hotel at 8am, and the check-in uncle hadn't come to work yet. The hotel staff warmly invited us to the restaurant for a free breakfast, and then checked us in early. The triple room booked by my family had a very comfortable bed. Although the hotel facilities are relatively old, they are well maintained. The cleaning lady kept our room very clean at all times, and the free mineral water and tissues were also provided in a timely manner. The hotel is in a very good location, 100 meters downstairs is the T1 rail station, it is very convenient to go to major attractions, and across the road is the Municipal Park and the Old Palace.

The location of the hotel is excellent, all the attractions of the Fatih area are within walking distance. Many people write in reviews about the noisy tram - in fact, it is not that noisy, it did not bother us at all, although we lived on the second floor. And he doesn’t walk at night either. But there was another problem - there was practically no sound insulation from the corridor, so conversations and slamming doors, especially at night, caused some inconvenience. Breakfast is quite monotonous and modest, but overall normal and satisfying. Everything was great with the staff, they checked us in even before our check-in time. There are also Russian-speaking employees for whom this is important. Our room was a triple one, not particularly spacious, but clean and very comfortable for three people, they all had full beds. And we were only in the room to spend the night, otherwise there was no point in going to Istanbul)

Everything is good. The only drawback is that there is a tram in front of the hotel, so you can't drive and have to drag your suitcase for a while.

In the core tourist area of ​​Istanbul, there are actually quite a few hotels like this around. This hotel is in a very good location, and you can travel within walking distance. The neighborhood is a fusion of classical and modern markets, and the light rail downstairs is unique. Of course, if you are afraid of being noisy, you should not choose it in tourist area

The downside is that there is no parking space, and there is a tram in front of the door. The transportation is convenient and it will have some impact on people who like to be quiet at night (it will stop after 12 o'clock at night )
