Firstly if I could give minus stars I would have it defo isn’t a 1 let alone anything above. When they say sea views they mean the docks the other side of the busy 6 lane motorway . The hotel is dirty the astray on our original balcony was a metal tin with sand in full of half smoked cigarettes. The glass on the front of the balcony’s has never been cleaned it’s thick in dust. Toilet roll must be like gold here because they leave you half a roll a day at best and no spare. We visited Istanbul for surgery and unfortunately this was the hotel the clinic booked for us. It is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Myself and my partner both had major surgery we were sniggered at and laughed at whilst being looked up and down by the waiting and kitchen staff talking amongst them selves and finding us “funny” maybe it was the tubes we were carrying from surgery. Sorry about that as a clinic hotel I thought the staff would be more sympathetic and understanding of these things. We didn’t feel comfortable going anyway but it was day 3 and we wanted breakfast…:we went to walk out with it to take it to our room and was told this wasn’t allowed. We were meant to fly home on Saturday but our bodies weren’t ready to fly so we asked the clinic if they could book us 3 extra nights but on a lower floor preferably garden level so we could walk around the garden instead of up and down the Corridors my movement wasn’t great and surgery had defo knocked me for 6 otherwise I would have changed hotels in a second. (we was on 6) and with single beds because we kept waking each other in the night. My body was majorly swollen and I needed to walk around as much as possible out of the heat to be fit to fly. The clinic arranged this no problems :-) on Saturday I went down to reception and asked them if my simple room change was ready? the man (and I use that word very lightly) on reception responded *why do you want to change, NO same room…hotel is full* you don’t see anyone so figured this was a lie but double checked website anyway and there was multiple rooms available. To say he was rude would be an understatement. Decided to wait for someone more reasonable so on change over we went and spoke to a helpful man. He asked us what we wanted I asked for garden room single beds as above. He told me one wasn’t available until Sunday it was late in the day I accepted so he booked it and even wrote it in the diary. Sunday…we call reception unfortunately it was the same rude arrogant person from the day before 🙄 I asked…is our garden room available yet? No sorry we moving you to 206 because the occupants have just requested late check out in the room you booked yesterday. I asked how and why that was possible when we specifically booked that room number yesterday? again it was met by rudeness and not wanting to help just “it’s the same room but on the floor above” well no it isn’t yes we now have single beds but we still having to walk up and down the corridors whi
