Welcome to Historic Hummell House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our 3,000 square foot spacious home features four very large bedrooms and three fully renovated bathrooms to accommodate your entire entourage comfortably. We lovingly restored this grand home from the ground up in 2015 and it features 10 foot ceilings, original hardwoods, a grand staircase, comfortable furnishings and bedding, as well as designer light fixtures, artwork, and decor. We take great pride in providing an upscale, thoughtfully designed space for our guests. Our design work has been featured in numerous publications including Southern Living, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Apartment Therapy.The gourmet kitchen has stainless appliances, marble counters, and a chef’s GAS range. The dining room has a table custom-made from original wood ceiling beams salvaged from the home during renovation and can easily seat eight guests. Kick back and relax in the living room on our cozy, down filled couch. The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a plush king-sized bed, an original fireplace, a spacious attached bathroom with double vanity, and a large walk-in closet. (The master suite is THE perfect space for a bride and her bridesmaids to get ready for her big day.) The main level also features a luxurious glamour bath with a large soaker tub, ready for you to rest and relax on your vacation. There are three large bedrooms upstairs, two with queen beds, and one with three twin beds. If a reservation is made for ten guests, an air mattress can also be provided for the additional guest. The third bathroom is also upstairs, as well as a large sitting area.
