"Everything was perfect, except for the journey to the hotel. You have to take a taxi from the airport to a private pier, then a nearly 30-minute yacht ride to reach the island. The hotel staff were all polite and enthusiastic; I never felt treated differently. The breakfast selection was quite extensive. Although it officially ends at 10 AM, sometimes guests would arrive at 10 AM, and the staff would still greet them warmly. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent location, facing the sea. It's wonderful to enjoy the beautiful view while having breakfast! The restaurant next to the lobby is close to the beach and offers plenty of seating options. The food quality is also very good; the Tom Yum Goong soup and chicken stir-fried with cashews were delicious. This restaurant operates from noon until evening, so in the afternoon or evening, besides having a full meal, you can also order some drinks, which is very pleasant. The hotel's beach actually has very fine sand, not coarse at all, and it's very comfortable to walk on. If you turn left from the hotel beach, you'll quickly reach the local street with many restaurants, massage parlors, and laundromats. It's very convenient. If you've used up the hotel's complimentary vouchers, you can choose to eat at the outside restaurants; the service and choices are excellent. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel, worth staying for a few more days."

"I absolutely love this hotel! Everything from check-in, to the room, to the beach, exceeded my expectations and perfectly suited my preferences. The only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit perfunctory – several types of toast but only about five hot dishes. Before I arrived, I expected it to be a typical large guesthouse, but it turned out to be a proper forest hotel. The private villa I stayed in was perfect for couples, with a very stylish room design. The hotel has a lot of forest-dwelling small animals; squirrels, geckos, and small insects often visited our living room, which really excited the kids. The beach's ecosystem is excellent. After the tide recedes, a large shallow area is swarming with sand horses and crabs, like a breeding ground. My little boy loved catching crabs – compared to paying 80 RMB for one crab on domestic beaches, I felt like I hit the jackpot here. I hope it stays this way when I visit again. Quick tip: all dishes on the kids' menu at the poolside restaurant come with fries, so don't over-order. We arrived in the evening, and my child was very hungry, so I ordered a bunch of things indiscriminately – chicken steak, hot dogs, burgers. It turned out to be enough for three kids! Mainly because the prices aren't expensive, around 20 RMB per dish. There were no pictures, and I'm so used to being overcharged by vendors back home that it took some getting used to. This time I came with my child for a family trip; next time, I hope to bring my partner and stay in a beachside pool villa. Just thinking about it is wonderful!"

"Good experience overall! Price/quality very fair, the pool is large enough (although not deep). Surprisingly varied breakfast with Asian and western options. The beach is clean with sufficient shade from the trees.. Sea acsess by the stairs. Just across the street there is a convenience store with drinks, snack and holiday essentials. The restaurant is fairly priced, some dishes even cheaper than on larger beaches. Plus, there are restaurants walking distance from the hotel. The staff is nice and can arrange transportation and bike rentals. Used their laundry service too - was ready overnight."

"We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Cape Kudu and we loved it there. Highlights - The staff: Super friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From the front desk, to restaurant waiting staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the managers… everyone seemed genuinely welcoming and there to support our every need. - Ambience: The hotel was beautiful - from the pool & restaurant with their gorgeous sea view, to the thoughtfully decorated clean & bright rooms, to the gorgeous spa, everything felt designed to help you relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. We loved the vintage cars parked outside too… and the beautiful flowers all around… The whole place was just 🤩 Other things we loved: - It was my partner’s birthday & they put a cake in the room for us - The food & drinks at the restaurant were delicious - The musicians (restaurant had live music) were great - The spa was beautiful & we both enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing massage there - Easy to arrange transport (scooter rental right next door & local taxis available for getting back to the pier) Areas for improvement: - The pool in the room needed some maintenance, specifically the top rung of the ladder was missing, which made it difficult to enter and exit the pool"

"This hotel offers great value for money, with a good environment, excellent ecology, and a quiet atmosphere. The only downside is that the shuttle boat to the island is not free and a bit pricey, at 2000 THB per person for a round trip. For one room, that's 4000 THB."

"This hotel is located on a side street off the main road. We particularly enjoyed the friendly welcome. We had a standard room, which was very clean, had a safe, and fresh towels were provided daily if desired. It was a good size, and we were lucky enough to get a corner room, which meant we had an extra window and a small private terrace. The hotel is right on the beach, but also has two pools. Additionally, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to what is supposedly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The hotel restaurant offers a very extensive breakfast buffet; the only downside is that the coffee machine takes a while. The food selection at the restaurant is also excellent. For those who are very sensitive to noise: since there's a pier directly on the hotel beach, it's often used by scooter riders to zoom around – it's actually quite fun to try yourself! :) I generally recommend always having earplugs for Thailand (also for speedboats) – we were able to sleep perfectly well."

"Overall good, clean and luxurious, especially if you want isolation and luxury, although too many people. But our bathroom door was blocked from inside, shower drain was blocked and shower flooded. Massage price is too high (5000 baht + 1000 tax), which is 15-10 times more than street price. Food is not that expensive but no local delicacies like shell fish or sato beans. Very good park and beach, nice staff and fast service, except for golf carts at peak time."

"Our room was absolutely gorgeous, really spacious and spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was fabulous and the view from the resort was magical. The food in the restaurant was OK, there are other cheaper and tastier restaurants within walking distance though. We hired a bike for the day which was hassle free and cheaper than the rental place next door. The pool area was beautiful and we even saw a couple of water monitor lizards. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxed and authentic Thai island experience."

"This is a good hotel where every room is on the pool. Breakfast was good with lots of choices except, no pork. The island of Yao Yai is predominately muslim, so pork isnt offered. Great sunsets, good restaurants close and good massage places too. Motorbikes are available so you can tour the island and see all the different beaches. Taxis to and from the piers are offered and the speed boats to and from the islands are inexpensive. The sunsets here are awesome."

"The hotel is not so big but very cute. Thai style room and with super welcomed stuff, they are so polite! Breakfast is nice, you have a lot of choice, western and Thai. I like to eat dinner here and watching sunset. The price is expensive then the local restaurant but also reasonable, and the taste is very good. Tiki bar has happy hour from 5-7pm. Perfect time to watch sunset. The beach and pool never crowded, a perfect place for get away and relaxing. In the afternoon there are a lot of crabs to catch. There are 3 very cute dogs in this resort. If you want to have a quiet vacation and only enjoy, relaxing, I recommend this hotel."
