"Disappointing Experience Despite Renovation Claims The actual room did not match the images shown online. Although the hotel claims to be recently renovated, the decor still felt dated. We checked into Room 2009, but the air conditioning was malfunctioning. While the front desk promptly sent engineers to fix it, there was no improvement even after an hour. I called again to follow up and was told that engineers would return, but they never did. Eventually, I requested a room change. The hotline staff mentioned that the duty manager’s approval was needed and that we would receive a call back. After waiting for 30 minutes without any update, we decided to head out for dinner. When we stopped by the reception at 8 PM to follow up, we were told the duty manager was still on break. We waited until 8:15 PM with no update and called again—only then were we told they were still trying to find us a room. Our request was finally confirmed after another 10 minutes, and we appreciated the upgrade to Room 1413, which had two queen beds. Unfortunately, the new room had a clogged bathtub drain, which required another visit from the engineers before we could finally rest for the night. What could have been better: I understand the initial attempt to fix the aircon, but a room change should have been offered when it was clear the issue wasn't resolved. The only reason we got a new room was because we kept following up. The staff’s reaction time throughout our stay was disappointing. Timelier communication and a more proactive approach would have made a significant difference."

"Hotel is pretty decent for a budget stay. They were kind enough to even upgrade our room to deluxe with two queen size beds. Capitol Commons and Estancia mall is about a 10 mins walk. They also have sufficient parking space. Not much in terms of amenities like bar etc.. Pool area can be better... but for the price you're paying for it's understandable. Will definitely consider Privato again for future budget stays."

"Stay was smooth and fine. Consistently, the AC of the rooms have issues, my previous 2 stays were similar where the AC was weak and leaked. I requested for a room change on Day 2/4 during this stay, and was met with them saying ”leave the room and wait in the lobby for an hour while we fix it.” which I didn't agree to, as I wanted a room change. They eventually gave me a new room with functioning AC, and the rest of my stay went fine. The housekeeping staff are kind and courteous. Breakfast buffet is good, but the food runs out fast due to the volume of people eating, but they work on refilling it as best as they can. The yoghurt is always in limited quantities. The milk tastes diluted and odd. Overall, still worth it for the price you pay. I'd come back, but I'll be firm when demanding a room with functioning AC."

"I’ve been a frequent guest at this hotel, staying an average of almost once a month, and overall, the experience has been pleasant. The **room was clean as always**, and the **housekeeping service was excellent**, promptly attending to any request with efficiency and courtesy. However, I believe the **front desk services** still have room for improvement. On my recent stay, I inquired about a complimentary room upgrade, as many hotels offer this perk for loyal guests. I was quickly told “no” without much consideration or follow-up. I suggested they at least check, but the front desk agent declined. I asked “how about birthday upgrade for frequent guest?” I was answered, we only give cake and didn’t even bother to ask for my birthdate or check his record. Additionally, I requested a late check-out, as the standard check-out time is 11 a.m. I asked for just a one-hour extension, but the staff advised me to call the next morning instead of handling the request during the check-in process. While the **cleanliness and housekeeping** are consistently excellent, I hope the front desk can improve their customer service to match the overall high standards of the hotel."

"This is a ‘love’ hotel. Even though the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and discreet, the hotel lacks basic safety features such as a key for your room and a safe box. Therefore it’s pointless to book it in advance for several nights. There’s absolutely nothing around the hotel which can be positive or negative depending on what you’re looking for. Only recommend if all you’re looking for is privacy."

"Hotel services were good, clean rooms and comfortable stay. Rooms are good for families and they make sure to keep the guest aware of the hotel policies. Maybe something to improve, since we booked 2 bedroom suite for a family of 4 adults we observed that the masters comfort room needs further sanitation in which I explained to the staff before we checked out."
