Lake Tekapo Hotels with Wifi

Location was very convenient if you have plans to tour the Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki areas. Most of the good restaurants in this area are right next to this hotel (within walkable distance) so this is also a plus. There are also many parking spaces available around the hotel so you do not have to worry about that if you are driving. The downsides of this place are that the rooms are very small and that there will be a lot of bugs if you leave the windows opened

Hotel is very new. Clean, good location, and great service. I love the modern style of the hotel. Good choice to stay in Tekapo lake.

The room was exceptionally clean and cozy, and the proximity to restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance was convenient. The breakfast service was delightful and delicious. Although we encountered an issue with the coffee machine on the first day, the staff promptly assisted us by offering complimentary coffee. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

This hotel is highly recommended. It is an independent small villa with a kitchen and living room on the first floor and an indoor parking lot. You can wash clothes in the parking lot, which is super convenient. There are two bedrooms on the second floor. It feels completely like home. It is a ten-minute walk to the lake. There is no better price and experience in Lake Tekapo. It is much more convenient than a hotel.

The best part was the ability to gaze up at the stars through the large windows - the perfect way to end each evening. The check-in process was seamless, with the owner providing the password to the key box ahead of time so we could access the unit with ease. Once inside, we were impressed by the large, spacious layout and the high-quality kitchen equipment. The added touch of having two comfortable bean bag chairs for stargazing was such a lovely and thoughtful detail. And having two bathrooms was a huge plus, especially when traveling as a family. Overall, the combination of the quiet, scenic location, well-appointed unit, and attentive host made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had. We'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with exceptional stargazing opportunities. It's a hidden gem!

This was by far the best place I stayed at while traveling through New Zealand, even though there wasn’t anyone there to check us in. The process was still incredibly easy—getting the check-in information emailed to me was simple and straightforward. When I arrived, the room was clean, modern, and cozy, and they even left us a small gift since it was Christmas Eve. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. The unit also had laundry facilities, which was a huge bonus after living out of our suitcases for over a week. I would definitely stay here again—it had everything we needed and more, making it feel like a home away from home.

Good view for lake tekapo and quiet place away from crowds but a bit far from the town. A connection with nature when you enjoying your food outdoor and surrounding by ducks and seagulls. Got all kitchenware at your room and you need to bring them through when you need cooking. Nice interactions with other travellers

We decided to stay one more night in Tekapo on short notice. Fortunately, we found this cost-effective treasure apartment. The price is half of Blue Water and the area is twice as large. Facilities: We stayed in Unit A, which should be the best of the three studio apartments. It is on the side and the car can be parked directly at the door. It is 45 square meters, with one bedroom and one living room, kitchen, washing machine, air conditioner and heater. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The hotel is located on a small gentle slope. It takes 3 minutes to drive to the supermarket and the lake, and 15 minutes to walk. There is a gentle snow-capped mountain on one side of the apartment and a small pond on the other side. It is very beautiful on snowy days. We saw the beautiful sunrise. I stayed in the Lake View B&B the night before, and stayed here for an extra night. The different experience is just right. Service: Telephone consultation is in Chinese, self-service check-in and check-out are very convenient, and I called twice during my stay if I didn’t understand anything. Disadvantages: The only inconvenience is that the wash basin is too small, which is easy to splash water. In fact, the bathroom is quite wide. It is recommended to change to a larger one.

This room is self-check-in. You will receive a password and detailed instructions before departure. It is in Chinese, don't worry😌. I think the room is super beautiful. The equipment is also very new. There is a kitchen with a large refrigerator. There is also Netflix to watch. It is very close to Lake Tekapo. But we still drove there. It will take less than 5 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, there were no stars that night. The only drawback may be that the mirror is only in the bathroom🤣

You must pay attention to the check-in time after 3 o'clock, which is my negligence. The room is not big, but it is well furnished, with a bathroom heater and a powerful air conditioner, so you don't have to worry about being frozen. The only regret is that it is a bit far from the city center, about 15 minutes walk. If the weather is good, I think it would be a good choice to take a chair and sit at the door at night to drink beer and look at the stars.
