I like to listen to the sound of rain to help sleep. It is a deep sleep place to come here in the rainy season. The cabin is not very soundproof. The heavy rain fell in the surrounding woods. The air conditioner was turned on and the quilt was wrapped in the quilt. It was really a three-dimensional surround sleep aid ASMR in the whole house. We slept for 12 hours.
The weather is not very good recently, it is not easy to get a big sun during the day, so the scenery is not as sunny, but because there is no direct sun, it can make people sit by the lake and drink wine without burden. The lake water is blue colored whether it is sunny or cloudy, very calm, the water depth is about 2 meters, you can swim a little.
The facilities in the hotel room are also relatively simple. For example, the last picture of the hotel bathroom is open-air, so you have to take a shower when it doesn't rain.
⚠️ Note: Those who are afraid of insects and frogs and are afraid of cockroaches should be careful. It is inevitable that they will encounter them on the road and there will be many insects around when eating.
It is worth mentioning that this hotel restaurant gives people an unexpected surprise, basically no dish that step on thunder.

This hotel is an architectural masterpiece and absolutely stunning. They are also one of the few hotels that didn’t destroy the vital mangroves protecting the lagoon (and it’s beautiful color). Needless to say that the lagoon is an absolute stunner.
The service/management, however, is not worthy 5 stars and also not a Michelin key. We were very disappointed. A few things to note before you book this place:
- very inconsistent service: for example, we never received a WhatsApp with all the info/tours, only after asking for it again.
- very poor planing of tours (we booked a sailing trip … the first day it took them 2 hours of “confirmation” to end up telling us it’s not possible. We then booked for the next day and the tour started about 1 hour late, again, us just “waiting” and wasting our precious holiday time. No “sorry” whatsoever from the hotel.
- the tour was supposed to include “sunscreen” (mentioned in PDF flyer). When the guide arrived (a very nice and competent local guide), she told us that sun screen is not available and anyway is heavily damaging the lagoon and should be avoided - feels like something a) the hotel should advocate and b) not sell as part of their tours
- waiters service also very inconsistent. Some friendly, some couldn’t even say “hello”
- food also very inconsistent (and expensive). Pasta à la mantequilla was a nightmare, while the hamburger was delicious.
- on the day of NYE we proactively asked about a table in the restaurant only for the staff to tell us that we can only have dinner there if we buy the NYE menu for 4500 MXN per person ( that’s around 215 EUR pP ). The hotel is very remote (which is why we booked it of course), so the next restaurant is 20 minutes away. They never proactively mentioned this (all they did was inform that there will be a NYe dinner)
Overall, too many little things that went wrong to make this stay enjoyable.

The location nearby the beach promenade is very good. The room was clean and modernly furnished and had a beautiful view. Unfortunately the water was not warm in the shower.

The hotel environment is average, the room has air conditioning, don’t worry about heat, next to the mall, there is a local museum, you can use FM3 to buy a ticket for half a discount, not far from the beach

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights only as a family of 2+2. Hotel contacted us in advance asking if we want sofa bed, it was very nice and in fact very handy to have as kids didn't fancy the bunk bed.
The location is very good, the hotel is just by the beach. The sea was lovely but the beach was full of seaweed. Whole area was like this so not just the hotel issue. Hotel's pool was really nice. The hotel is just by the promenade full of souvenir stalls and bars/restaurants. I highly recommend pizzas at Ronny's.
Apartment was nice and clean, we had a few bottles of fresh water left every day by the cleaning staff. There is aircon in each room working well. The kitchen is very basic, it lacked toaster and was short of cutlery, it would be nice to have a few more spoons. No hair dryers in the bathroom. We had a small balcony but sadly couldn't use it. It faced back of the hotel where someone was constantly burning trash. Not the fault of the hotel, just the general issue with rubbish being burned everywhere in Mexico.
The breakfast was 199 mexican pesos and there is a selection of 4/5 choices.
This is a really nice hotel for family stay with a medium size budget

I booked a room with my mother as we traveled to visit family. The staff was friendly and hotel was clean, but the Wi-Fi in the room was quite poor and useable.
