"Aman is the best hotel in Luang Prabang. It is located in the center of the town. It is a 5-minute walk to the Foreigner Street Night Market. Aman's service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner are all served at the hotel. The quality of the catering is online. I participated in the hotel's charity and Mekong River cruise. It costs extra but the price is acceptable. You can use the hotel's electric car to pick you up anywhere in the town. In short, Aman will take your vacation experience to a new level."

"Beautiful hotel and amazing staff.  Bedroom and bathroom really good.    Staff were fantastic.   What we didn’t like was the extremely slow WiFi 1,7 mbps is just not acceptable in these days and age.  No iron or laundry facilities , breakfast was more than average offering Vietnamese dishes instead of Lao, very disappointing.  We checked out after 1 night when we had booked 6."

"I love everything about this hotel. I actually booked it at the very last minute as I had to cancelled the other hotel due to incorrect date. Room was so spacious, very clean, and the breakfast spread was not bad too. If you are vegetarian, you may ask them to make new ones if they have it. Pool was really great, staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Do not worry if the location is just a bit out of the centre, they have free shuttle services & pick up too. The spa massage was amazing too. And i love that they also provide free shuttle to train station or airport if you stay 2 nights. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!"

"Lovely hotel directly at the river. Beautiful balcony for breakfast and restaurant food, another terrace directly at the river for relaxing and reading. Rooms are spacious and clean. Walls not too thick though. Stuff is super friendly and welcoming. Free airport/train station shuttle and shuttle to the city center."

"I would REALLY recommend this hotel! It has a great location-close to everything, yet you can enjoy peace and quiet. "Very new hotel, very clean and comfortable, the bath water is large, and the breakfast is rich. Out of the room is the swimming pool, the children have a super fun! The hotel owner is a pair of Vietnamese brothers and sisters, they are very capable and friendly. The hotel was well managed. I originally planned to stay for 2 nights and change to a star hotel. The result was too satisfied and stayed for 3 more nights. I stayed for 5 nights. The surrounding area is also very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk from the massage shop cafe supermarket fruit stall chartered car point. There is a cash machine opposite the intersection. recommend!"

"I had a very nice stay in the hotel. The grounds are amazing, with a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool, while the room was also nice and comfortable (I was upgraded due to some construction works). The staff was very friendly. The location is a bit out of town, but easily walkable and in a quiet neighborhood, so overall a good location. Bicycles are provided for free to clients, which is a nice touch."

"Bad experience, the price you pay doesn't match the room's quality you get. We paid about 140$ for a family room (35 sq.m in description), but get a small room stuffed with beds with no space even for suitcases. After one night, management gave as the bigger room, which was as big as expected (that's good), but the room wasn't cozy and neat. It looked quite filthy. I recommend choosing another place for staying in LP. Attached photos of family room we got first, and the second one."

It is between the Mekong River and Nam Khan River, with major attractions such as the Royal Palace and Xiengthong Temple in front and behind. The structure of the house is okay. I wonder if this is a common practice here. The hotel is not as fancy as in China and has many room types. Even if the room types are different, the pricing will not be different. The room decoration is relatively refreshing, the room size is relatively compact, and the hygienic condition is good. However, the quality of consumables such as toothbrushes and toilet paper used in the room is relatively low. There is no problem with hot water in the shower, but there is no hot water in the basin. I don't know how it is in other hotels. The attitude of the staff is pretty good, but some female employees continue to look at their phones without saying hello to customers, which seems to be a lack of training. The front desk couldn't communicate in Chinese well, so I managed to cope with it with the help of a translator. Fortunately, there weren't many people who needed to communicate while staying in the hotel. Breakfast was futile, the same every day. Two days before I stayed, there were Chinese families living on the same floor with their children. The door was often closed due to the commotion. This strange hotel was a bit reluctant. I don’t know what activities there were in the next two days, but it didn’t get quiet until midnight. Generally speaking, most of the hotels in Luang Prabang’s old town are old houses and B&Bs. The location advantage and basic facilities of this hotel are pretty good, so the business is still good. There are also many other B&Bs nearby. My bus ticket for the return trip from Luang Prabang to the train station was booked from other B&Bs. It cost 50,000 kip per person, which was relatively affordable. However, the hotel contacted asked for a chartered bus ticket of 300,000 kip. In my opinion, it can only be regarded as average in terms of comprehensive cost performance. For your reference."
