"The hotel has been open for five years. The overall feeling is very new, with advanced facilities, kitchen, large rooms, beautiful surroundings, and a great stay. It's just that the location is a bit remote. But there is a bus stop 450 meters away, which is convenient to the city and attractions. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, and the hotel provides free airport pick-up and drop-off services."

"The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away, which is convenient. The breakfast wasn't what I expected, but the selection was good and the miso soup was delicious. There's only one elevator, so it might get congested. It was a great value for money."

Go here - but keep in my mind: You need a car or scooter. You can walk in the citycentre within 15min., but beaches are rare.
For that go to Kabira.
Hotel offers daily shuttle to Fusaki Beach. Very convenient!
Staff is very friendly. Room is equipped with everything you need (bathroom; charging cable; fridge; drinking water directly from the faucet; …)
Breakfast has many western options (if you need them).

"The owner of Ohana guesthouse is amazing! The kindest and most hospitable man i have met. Even though his english is not all that good he really listens with interest and tries to connect. He cooks every night and you're invited to join for a very low price. When we ate together (Hotpot) and everyone was speaking japanese he kept trying to include me in the conversation. When i left after two days he even waved goodbye from the stairs till i turned the corner.
The cabins were spacious and had a little fan and a mirror with a ledge inside, which is super nice! The toilets and showers were clean and nice and the little wash area was super cute and had everything you could want. the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself but for 200/400/800¥ you can join dinner so i didnt cook.
Hands down the coziest guesthouse i have been, massive reccomendations!"

"The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a three-minute walk to the bus terminal, and there are many famous local shops nearby. Plus, the street right next door turns into a lively Izakaya street in the evenings. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they always go out of their way to help us resolve any issues (they also offer services like taxi booking and car rental).
As for facilities, the first floor boasts a large public bath (onsen), a souvenir shop, a laundry room, and a swimming pool. The public bath is quite traditional, so do note its specific operating hours. If you happen to forget your waterproof bag, the shop sells them, though their quality isn't great for photography. On the third floor, you'll find an ice machine and vending machines for beer and other drinks, which is super convenient for a quick purchase, even with nearby convenience stores.
Our tour guide mentioned that the breakfast here is also excellent, but we didn't have enough time during our trip to add it to our package.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends! While the price point is mid-to-high range, I truly feel it offers excellent value for money."

"It's located on a beautiful beach with jellyfish protection netting. The food is delicious, and we even had the opportunity to grill at our table once.
Public transport buses run very infrequently, so excursions and airport transfers need to be well-planned. IC cards (e.g., Suica) don't work on the buses here. It rained a lot, and some paths were flooded for days, meaning rubber sandals and shorts were essential. The cottage with a whirlpool tub on the terrace was lovely and spacious."

lives in ocean view twin room. the room is spacious and clean. also close to Ishigaki Bold Kitchen which we have dinner and breakfast there.
Just the BOLD kitchen was too many people in the morning and have to wait for 20-25 mins for table (and you cannot make reservation for breakfast)
the poolssss and other facilities are excellent
for non Japanese speaker , the hotel cannot offer rental car pick up and return at hotel which could be improved. but they allowed me to return the car at hotel which save me some time and cost.
not many staff speak english in the resort so you probably need more time to communicate with the staff if you are non Japanese speaker. thanks to google translate more problem could be solved."

GGuest UserVery clean and well organised. The guest house is kept spotless and has all that you may need. From the rooms which are very well organised and each person has his unique space kind of like a small room to himself, to the temperature of the aircon, which too often is kept very low, whereas here it is kept cool but not freezing. The service is very good, there is always someone in reception from 7AM to 11PM and they are always ready to help. Toilets are super clean and well kept, and you are given 2 towels daily for you to use. Also, if you stay more than 5 nights, you get a new set of bedsheets to use (you have to change them on your own).
The kitchen is very well equipped and if you want to cook, they have all the necessary tools. Also, the common room is very well displayed, it is cosy and a nice space to socialize. An additional room to hang to dry wet clothes is outside of the back entry and can be very handy after a day at the seaside.
Overall, one of the best guesthouses I have been in during my trip in Japan.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and comfortable, though the pillows weren't the best. The hotel staff were all very good, but there seemed to be too few of them. When we checked out early, everyone was busy in the restaurant, and the front desk was unattended. It took us a while to find someone, even though we had already provided our departure and check-out times during check-in. The hotel has a great variety of recreational facilities, including multiple pools, snorkeling and diving excursions, as well as SUP and kayaks available by the shore. There's also a golf course. Dining at the hotel was convenient, and there's also an excellent certified Ishigaki beef restaurant nearby, plus a good Tri-Mountain ramen place.

GGuest UserFuku-chan, Nicole and ２ cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone.
The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car.
The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well.
The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures).
I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body.
We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga.
It is an inn that I want to visit again.

CChikaInamiFacilities: Relatively new. Given that Ishigaki Island has an average annual humidity of nearly 80%, the air conditioning in public areas is kept on 24/7. It's also recommended to keep the AC on in your room and avoid opening windows, as there are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs.
Cleanliness: Very clean, the level of cleanliness you'd expect from a business hotel. Nothing to complain about.
Environment: Located next to the ANA InterContinental and very close to Maesato Beach. From the first-floor breakfast area and your room, you can enjoy the meticulously maintained lawns and trees of the neighboring InterContinental. Higher-floor rooms even offer sea views, which is lovely. There's plenty of parking available; you just park directly in front, then inform the front desk of your license plate number when checking in.

11333283****The breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality options, and even on weekdays, the hotel had a high occupancy rate. The staff were very friendly; I was particularly touched when the gentleman responsible for cleaning in the morning bowed to me in a traditional Japanese greeting. We booked sea view rooms through Trip.com, and my friend and I each made separate bookings. It turned out the room types were slightly different, with one being much closer to the sea, which led to a bit of a disagreement with the front desk. Luckily, we speak Japanese, and the hotel eventually made a compromise, for which I'm grateful! I hope Trip.com can be more accurate when describing room types during the booking process to avoid such unnecessary hassle. The hotel is right by the sea, and the water is clear, but it's a shame there's no sandy beach, which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are also on the smaller side.

LLind THotel is located slightly off the busy area which I like cos it’s quiet. Very near to Family Mart and supermarket Overall stay was pleasant with the room rate.
Note:
- Located slightly away from the busy buzz yet near to 24hr Family Mart and MaxValue.
- If you need constant attention and with room cleaning, bed making service daily, this will not suit you.
- Hotel staff only work on certain hours and do not speak much English. Super helpful when I asked for help eg:calling a taxi.
- Fresh towels are provided daily and they placed on the door handle.
- Room is spacious with big sea facing windows.
- Will be great if there are more hooks on the spacious walls or toilet.
- Enjoyed also the public bath esp after a day out of walking!
- Free breakfast was sufficient.

GGuest UserIt's a really nice place and comes fully equipped, including a washer with detergent and a spacious balcony for air drying clothes. The toiletries and amenities are also great, and even the toilet paper is good quality, not thin or flimsy.
You can occasionally hear sounds from the corridor, but they are brief and not very disruptive. There is no street noise, very quiet. However, if you book a second floor room, you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
Free parking is available. The location is a short walk to the town area and public market, and about a seven minute walk to the bus stop.
Before check in, you need to call the property to get the door code, as there are usually no staff on site, you could do it via app so it is fre. This may be inconvenient for some guests. I recommend calling in advance, as they do not always pick up immediately.

CCL8888This hotel is very new and clean and modern. The location is prime. Right across the street of the terminal. If you choose higher floor, you will enjoy the ocean view with clear view of the terminal and can even see the big cruise ship. Right next to the hotels are some shops and restaurants. The room itself is extremely spacious and plenty of space for your suitcase and clothes to hang around to dry. The breakfast is good. You can order as much as you can and it was very tasty. You can also store the luggage in the hotel to suit your day trips to the nearby island. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone but please be sure to book early as it runs out fast.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at this inn, following last year, and I stayed here for two nights.
The biggest advantage of this inn is its good location and reasonable price.
The base for sightseeing, including the Yaeyama Islands, is the Euglena Remote Island Terminal. You can reach this remote island terminal in 4-5 minutes on foot from your room. The entrance to the inn is also in the Euglena Mall shopping district, so it is convenient for buying souvenirs, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby, making it the center of Ishigaki Island. This time I stayed here in a single room for less than 3,000 yen per night. As the inn's sign says ”For Backpackers,” the facility is simple, but there were no particular concerns about hygiene, the rooftop was available, and the receptionist was very kind. I'm the type who likes to eat and drink outside, so I rarely use the Yuntaku space, but it's also good for people who like to talk with other guests. It's nice to stay with friends and have fun with awamori in the Yuntaku space, or you can eat and talk while eating and drinking at the tables and benches on the rooftop. This is recommended for those who are price-conscious but also want convenience.
