Fuji City Hotels with Wifi

"This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in this trip! Simply because of the amazing direct views of Mount Fuji from our room window! Don’t need to even rush to any instagram spots. Ask for the high floors and rooms to the right of the hotel. We stayed in room 1016. This hotel is also very clean. You’ll need to keep your shoes in their lockers and only wear the provided room slippers inside. The staff even cleaned our luggages’ wheels before we can bring them into the hotel. Spacious and comfy beds with all the amenities you’ll need. Complimentary breakfast was also very delicious."

"Fuji, a city steeped in industrial history, feels a bit worn and aged, much like this hotel, reflecting its old industrial past. The front desk handed me the key to my room. The bathroom was tiny, but the service was good. I actually think this is one of the better hotels in Fuji. They even have an observation deck on the 4th floor of the south building with a distant view of Mount Fuji. It's also conveniently located near both Fuji Station and Shin-Fuji Station."

"The hotel is very close to Fuji Station, right outside the exit. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are larger than those in Tokyo. Overall, it's clean and offers good value for money. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; you have to walk a bit to find a 7-Eleven, but there's a small convenience store next to the ticket gate inside Fuji Station that can suffice. Although it's next to the station, it's relatively quiet at night, as JR Tokai doesn't have many late-night services. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji from the pedestrian bridge at the station. Fuji Station is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Minobu Line (terminus). Fuji City isn't a tourist city; it's an industrial one, so a one-day trip to hit the main spots is usually enough."

"The price was reasonable. The location was also good. It was well-cleaned and clean, but I noticed some mold on the air conditioner, which may be because it's old. Also, the bathroom faucet was missing."

"Relatively new hotel. Located next to main highway, only problem with driving is having to make a long way along the highway to u turn, otherwise pleasant place to stay. Breakfast average. Onsen average."

"I visited with my mother and our toddler. Since my mother gets cold easily, I informed the hotel beforehand, and they warmed the room very nicely for us. They also prepared meals for our toddler, and I was deeply moved by the heartfelt service from all the staff. Although we arrived later than planned, everyone welcomed us warmly, and their hospitality was truly heartfelt. I was also impressed by their willingness to answer our questions and requests to the best of their ability. The bath, overlooking the garden, was fantastic. The view of Mount Fuji from the hotel was also beautiful and breathtaking. The cost performance was excellent, and the meals were generous in portion size—more than we could eat! "This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed at afterward. Maybe because of the extensive self-service, the front desk's role is more auxiliary, so strong English skills aren't as crucial. Like all other Toyoko Inns, this one had excellent facilities: water dispensers, ice machines, hot water dispensers, microwaves, coffee makers, vending machines – everything you could need. The breakfast was standard and featured Japanese specialties. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Shin-Fuji Station exit. If I had to pick a downside, the highly standardized management meant it lacked the 'personal touch' many people look for in a hotel. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, and the hotel only handles matters related to your stay; they won't help with local travel guides or transportation questions."

"I don't recommend going. It looks like a quarantine facility for COVID-19 in Japan, and the entrance feels like a shoe-changing room in a school or public bathhouse. Maybe it's a cultural difference, but no matter what planet we're on, you're in the service industry, running a hotel. You should make people feel at home. So I really don't recommend going!"

"It's a room-only stay. Since it was winter, there was no beer garden, and it seemed like no meals were offered either. There appeared to be several bar-like places nearby. It's a standard business hotel. The front desk staff were very nice."
