"Excellent stay Food was great both In breakfast & dinner! All good except the hotel in 2025 doesn’t have an automatic room temperature  Control!! In a city like Delhi with cold days in winters &  Hot hot summers!! This needs to be updated Asap!! 5 star hotels can’t be offering space heaters as an Alternative!!"

"Wonderful hotel in the middle of the city of New Delhi. Location is great, clean and safe area with lots of trees around. 10-15 minutes walk to local markets. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, many choices, western and Asian food. Highly recommended. 🙏🙏"

"Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is clean, a short walk from Janpath metro station and the staff are friendly. It is also conveniently close to some key attractions. As an added benefit there is a travel consultant in the hotel who is really friendly and helpful."

"When I arrived at the hotel, it looked very nice and modern, so I was expecting the rooms to be the same. In the hallways there was a smell of insecticide – this is very common in India, it happened to me in several places. We entered the room and they had only given us one towel for two people; I called reception and they brought us another one. The bathroom was full of mold and the room itself was very old. The bed was too soft, as if the mattress was already very old. Breakfast only had Indian options with very spicy food. The service is fine, but I don’t think the price is worth it for the room."

"It was a bit noisy, but I'd attribute that more to the hotel's location, or perhaps just the general urban environment in India, rather than the hotel itself. Things might have been different had I been given a room on the quieter, inner side instead of facing the road. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For this price point, the level of service was truly exceptional. Overall, despite the noise, I was completely satisfied!"

"Lovely heritage hotel. Beautiful building and very friendly and attentive service. Perhaps sometimes a little too much. Pool was lovely and food delicious. Rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Only gripe was that the WiFi connection was not easy to connect to, took a long time and when eventually connected actually quite slow. Other than this would highly recommend. Beautiful gardens and some fun animals to see around"

"I had them pick me up at the airport. I was a little late, but the response was very good. The location of the hotel is very car-driven, and I was a little worried that I could hear the horn day and night. The people at the front desk were also very polite, but even though I booked a plan with breakfast, I was told that an additional fee was required because it was not included, and we booked a tour. It was said that our plan was cheaper because it was expensive, and the customer service was like seeing the feet to take money with something, so I refused it clearly or refrained from making a reservation immediately. Show me You should be able to do it. Other than that, security was firm, the room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious."

"Welcome to the Lalit Hotel in New Delhi, where the hospitality is as warm as a freshly made naan and the staff is filled with the most stunning girls in India! Seriously, the moment I walked in, I thought I’d accidentally stumbled onto a Miss India pageant rehearsal. I was half-expecting a judge to pop up and ask me to rate their smiles! Now let’s address the food. Oh, bhai! The food here should come with a warning label: “Caution: May cause uncontrollable drooling!” One bite, and I was hooked. I think I ate enough biryani to feed an entire wedding party! I mean, I was so full, I considered rolling out of the dining room like a giant samosa. Bring your elastic-waist pants because you’ll need them, trust me! And those beds! I lay down and entered a sleep coma that lasted a whole month. When I finally woke up, I felt like a bear who had just come out of hibernation—hairy, grumpy, and wondering where all the food went! I was so well-rested that I thought I could run a marathon or at least walk to the fridge without feeling tired! So, if you’re looking for a place where beauty meets deliciousness and where beds are softer than a paratha fresh off the tawa, the Lalit Hotel is the place to be! Just remember to come with an empty stomach and a sense of humor, so you can laugh off those extra kilos you’ll definitely gain. Trust me, you’ll leave with a bag full of memories and maybe a few extra pounds, but who cares?
