Even though I saw many positive reviews before booking, I didn't set my expectations too high. It was only after staying here that I truly understood what 'exceeds expectations' means. Every single staff member, without exception, offered genuine greetings and provided excellent service. Their service mentality absolutely surpasses that of any hotel of the same caliber, or even higher-end brands, back home. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, and despite the crowd, everything was well-organized and managed seamlessly. It's clear they put a lot of thought into it, and even during the busiest times, the staff's enthusiasm for service remained consistently high, which left a fantastic impression! The room cleaning and maintenance were superb. I particularly loved the extra-long sofa, and the shower pressure was excellent. We had almost all our dinners at the hotel. The Ă la carte dishes and desserts at Soiree were of extremely high quality. The prices for food and drinks of comparable quality are practically a third of what you'd pay in Shanghai. All in all, this was truly an outstanding choice; the value for money is top-notch. And of course, beyond the hotel, I found that almost everyone we encountered in Yogyakarta was incredibly simple, warm, and welcoming, which made for a wonderful experience. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Great hotel, good view from the room at the city. But even better (actually amazing) 360° view from the rooftop, including of course towards Merapi.
The room is good, there is a nice pool on the rooftop, as well as a good bar. No pool towels, though.
The gym is very small and has a funny triangular shape, was a bit overcrowded with only 6 people at the same time.
Only downside was the breakfast, fresh omelette was good, but some of the sweet bakery goods among the most tasteless things I've ever had.
That said, still a great hotel with a nice art focused lobby and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Diandrianaâs familyThis hotel is perfect for a family staycation because of its incredibly complete facilities. There's a fun outdoor playground where kids can play freely, a sandpit, and a spacious swimming pool with a slide for children. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was really spacious and even had a mini-fridge and a hairdryer. It was such an enjoyable staycation! There was also a kids' activity earlier where they decorated donuts.

Anonymous Userlocation is super nice, as Jogja is small and also itâs nearby anywhere- apparently bumped (saw) into 2 actors: Yos Sudarso and Reza Rahadian during my stay. the food was just decent , nothing much you can pick but the Indomee stall was nice, should try the ânyemekâ version. Amenities need to give more la

Nurhayati NI really enjoyed my stay at Satoria Hotel. One of the highlights was the rooftop swimming pool â itâs a good size, open until 10pm, and thereâs a mini bar where you can order drinks and enjoy them by the pool.
The room was nice, comfortable, and spacious, and the bathroom was also well-sized. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. I also liked the breakfast â there was a good variety of food, and the menu changed daily so it never felt repetitive. The WiFi connection was reliable as well.
Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Muhammad IrfadHotel is not bad. Location is accessible, Â But cleanliness wise still can do better.
The Toilet , bathroom and balcony is not clean even after doing room service,
Furnishing is a little bit outdated. The room smells muskyÂ
The bellboy manning the drop off is not that good cos seeing me struggling with my luggage in the rain, he did not even offer to help despite having an umbrella. Did not even help us to open the door. Me and my partner struggle to bring our luggage up the slope, in the rain and drenched. Im not sure why, but for the 4 days 3 night im there, the doorbell didnt even offer to help or assist..
For a top 10 hotel in jogja, the bell boy can do better with service wise.
But the Front desk and concierge is very friendly..

Anonymous UserMy stay at Loman Park Hotel was adequate, but the property appears to be showing its age and would benefit from significant maintenance and refurbishment.
While the staff were generally pleasant and the location was convenient, many of the facilities and amenities felt run down and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the hotel gave the impression that routine upkeep has not been a priority for some time.
In particular, the room furnishings showed noticeable wear and tear. The towels provided were frayed and worn out, and several cushions in the room and common areas appeared aged, flattened, and overdue for replacement. These details detracted from the comfort and quality one would expect from a hotel of this standard.
A more concerning issue was the hygiene of the bottled drinking water containers provided in the room. Upon inspection, black mould-like growth was visible on the silicone stoppers of the glass bottles. This raised serious concerns about cleaning procedures and attention to sanitation standards. Given that these containers are intended for drinking water, this was particularly disappointing and undermined confidence in the hotel's overall hygiene practices.
Overall, Loman Park Hotel offers a functional stay, but the deteriorating condition of the facilities, lack of maintenance, and hygiene concerns mean that there is considerable room for improvement. With greater attention to refurbishment, cleanliness, and replacement of worn amenities, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

You can see the volcano from here. It used to be called Sheraton, and you can still find it on maps under that name. It's a very large property, even with a kids' amusement park that has a small train. Perhaps the renovation costs were too massive, so it seems to be operating on a shoestring budget now. Nevertheless, the service is still very good.
