Hotel facilities are particularly good, is a classic European country hotel, there are many wooden structures, breakfast is very good, there are many choices, you can also eat in the room, the front desk lady is also very warm

This accommodation is very well situated in the heart of Whitby. The style of the communal areas are lovely. It was quite clean. The communal terrace is also nice, though spider webs could be found every where around the seats. However, there are some downsides which will prevent me from a second stay at this accommodation, which are the lack of parking, challenge of finding an empty car park nearby, extremely small size of the  room and lack of essential amenities. The room is too small and you literally need to jump into the bed and stay there for everything you want to do as there’s not enough space in the room to sit. There’s only one chair in the room which is odd for a two bed room. There are no tables to sit at while two drawers are there, which seem unnecessary. There's no refrigerator. Additionally, the mattress or the extra mattress under the bed, and the pillows smelled bad which was really unpleasant. If they complete the amenities, get some reserved parking spot in the Church St car park and replace the smelly stuff with new ones, this place can turn into a decent place to stay. Thanks.

I'm going to give this hotel, Wilson Arms, my highest rating ever! The accommodation is very reasonably priced, including cooked breakfast - I had a full English. My room has two arm chairs, comfortable large bed and lovely bathroom. The view from the window couldn't be better. The food last was also delicious and great value. Good range of beers including two hand drawn. Only a few rooms and fully booked last night.

Excellent hotel, breakfast especially good, impecable service throughought with lovely professional staff. Will be returning.

The cottage is a little hard to find as the GPS takes to a different location in the hamlet. Once you find it though the cottage is absolutely lovely and secluded up on the hill above the hamlet of Houlsyke. and accessed through a narrow break in the buildings and up a private road to hollins Farm about halfway up the hill. The farm is very peaceful and the location is excellent for exploring the moors as well as many villages close by like Danby and others. A day trip to Whitby which is about 12 miles away is also easy from this location. The cottage is very well equipped and comforatble and it is great getting back to nature with horses, cows, rabbits and chickens always around the cottage. A short walk up the hill behind the farm brings you to one of the many local Moors and you can walk up a track through the moors to the Danby Beacon

The hostel is on the top of a mountain. After entering the old town, you need to climb 199 steps up the mountain. It is recommended to drive by yourself. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center and the train station. The garden is very beautiful. There is a restaurant that provides breakfast and other meals. The front desk is not open 24 hours. Check-in starts at 15:00 on time. Check-out time is 10:00 in the morning. Just throw the key card into the box. The cutlery and utensils in the self-service kitchen are very clean.

They are very clean and have very detailed preparation at everything . Perfect location . Nice sea view at breakfast hall. Bed is comfortable and walking distance to bus stop. Excellent

Everything was fine as expected. The TV in the room was tiny, as was the kettle. We visited the Restaurant/bar to have a Latte and a glass of wine but the speciality coffee machine was not working. The wine ( Zinfandel ) did seem rather expensive at £8.95 for a small glass. The breakfast was good but we thought that a continental breakfast should contain more continental items, rather than just Crossaints, fruit/ meats/cheeses perhaps. Overall, definitely in the same class as other establishment of the same type and price point that we have stayed in, priced reasonably overall.
