Schwerin Hotels with Wifi

"We booked this hotel out of convenience during a road trip around Germany. We were having difficulties finding a place in Hamburg and found out Schwerin has a very nice castle and is a very beautiful city off the beaten path. There isn't much around the hotel but we planned on just sleeping here. It is a very quiet location. There is plenty of parking but it is a bit tight even with the small car we had rented. The hotel had a few amenities like a business work station, big dining area, sauna and a lobby bar. We had booked a family room with a king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed turned out to be some sort of a single mattress which was fine because we booked for three people. The room was nice with a big TV, a couple of seating areas, plenty of lighting, a coffee station and an ironing board. We found extra pillows in the closet and they were very comfy. We had a great night's rest here and felt refreshed in the morning. The bathroom was good too with a nice shower and individual bath products for conditioner, shampoo and shower gel. They had a large bottle of body lotion too that was not strapped to the wall. The hair dryer was tucked away in the closet. The only complaint we would have for the bathroom was that the toilet button worked very inconsistently so we were not able to flush the toilet despite pushing up to ten times. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast with a good amount of hot and cold items. They had scrambled eggs, meatballs, bread, deli meats and some breads. There were coffee machines, a juice dispenser and a selection of tea. We went around 8 am on the weekend and it was already pretty busy with limited seating but we think the day we went everyone decided to go for breakfast around the same time and leave. The chairs here are also pretty comfy and there are lots of seating options. Check in was super quick when we arrived late at night. All I had to do was sign my name and write my email to get the key cards for the room. During check out I had mentioned that the toilet in the room was not flushing properly and they had initially offered to switch me rooms but the lady at the front desk seemed to mention that there is an issue with these buttons in some of the rooms then offered us complimentary parking. We were surprised that the hotel had paid parking because of their location and from my understanding it is around 4 euros a night."

"Parking in the deep garage is already expensive €15/day. Do not hurt a favour for hotel guests. The room was large enough. Beautiful that is a refrigerator and a water cooker as well as a microwave standard. The mattress felt very soft. In 5.OG was a very nice view to the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast we didn't take €19/person. The restaurant is not comfortable with prices. All in all is the hotel OK and recommended."

"Location: Free parking is available in front of the hotel and in the street. A shopping centre is 5 minutes away. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, to the center the bus drive is about 20 minutes. The equipment: The room was clean, the bathroom had a reasonable size, the bed was very comfortable. There was a table, but only a hocker, we found that very bad! The TV also stands very high, which was ergonomically not so pleasant. Service: We checked in the input area via the monitor, the printing worked only so mediumly well. The next time we checked in at the reception."

"We were very satisfied overall, but not complete, because the sauna area was disappointing. The steam sauna was defect and the lower sauna is very small – it fits only two people in. Nevertheless, the full sauna price was calculated. The breakfast was very good and appetiteful. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Overall, the hotel is located in a beautiful environment and well suited to relax. Despite the above deficiencies, we would recommend the hotel further."

"[Ideal for visiting Schwein Castle] It's a short walk from the nearest station, Schweinmitte, about a 7-minute walk, but it's located right near Schwein Castle, one of the city's spots, making it convenient for sightseeing. First of all, when you arrive at the hotel, the building entrance door is locked, so I will tell the staff to open it with the interphone. When you check in, you will get a key for your room and the entrance door of the building, so you can enter and exit during your stay. However, as the hotel note says, check-in and check-out time is limited, and basically only the check-in time zone seems to be the staff at the front desk. Therefore, it is difficult to have your baggage checked out. Except for that, you should be able to stay without any inconvenience."
