Yanji Hotels with Wifi

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and both the environment and service are excellent. I've always loved the color scheme in the rooms. The surrounding amenities are very comprehensive, with a mall and department store right downstairs, all conveniently located.

We chose to stay at this hotel again on our return trip because we had such a great experience during our first visit. This time we stayed in a different room, and once again we were very impressed. The room was clean, modern, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the smart features: the automatic curtains, beautiful lighting, and the intelligent toilet with automatic flushing and a heated seat. Everything felt modern and well designed. The room also included complimentary bottled water, a kettle, tea, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and many other useful amenities, so there was no need to buy anything extra. This room also had a refrigerator, which was very convenient and something we really appreciated. Another nice bonus was the free drinks at the reception. Guests can enjoy coffee, milk tea, and orange juice at no extra cost, which is a thoughtful touch. We would especially like to thank the receptionist. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We needed a European power adapter, and she immediately lent us one. Thanks to her help, we were able to charge our phones, and we are very grateful for her excellent service. The only small issue was that the room only had Chinese power outlets and did not have a built-in USB-C charging port like the room we stayed in previously. Without the adapter from the reception, charging modern devices would have been difficult. If you are traveling from another country, we recommend bringing a universal travel adapter just in case. Overall, we had another wonderful stay. This hotel offers excellent value for money, outstanding cleanliness, modern facilities, and genuinely friendly service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yanji.

Facilities: Excellent! The location is super convenient. It's right next to Seomun Market, and only about a 10-minute walk to the Water Market. The famous 'Instagram wall' isn't far either, so you can easily stroll there. There are also well-known restaurants nearby, like Hanjeong Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup). Hygiene: The room was very clean and tidied frequently. Service: The service was truly outstanding. They would escort us to the elevator when we left, and helped us with getting water. They even gave us frozen pears and frozen persimmons to eat, and the persimmon and frozen pear juices were delicious. Breakfast was also very hearty. I'm genuinely impressed! The room was spacious too. I was traveling with my mom, and they remembered that she likes hot tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. I was so pleased. We initially only booked for one night, but decided to extend our stay immediately after arriving.

How can you visit Yanji without experiencing a princess photoshoot? Choosing Xueting Songluan Pavilion was a very wise decision. The guesthouse's location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the Folk Village, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse also provides several sets of Hanbok for guests to use for photos. The guesthouse service is also very thoughtful. They helped with luggage, provided fresh fruit daily, offered a choice of three set breakfast menus, and even gave us Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The cleanliness was also very satisfying; they cleaned daily and replenished daily necessities. All in all, I was very pleased with every aspect!

2D2N in this hotel in the off-season. I booked it based on the good reviews! BUT there were some unexpected things nobody talks about! Let’s go for a quick review👇🏻 What was good: • Super clean • A good firm mattress and two pillows to choose from: one soft and one firm ✨ • The bidet 🥰 • The price • Good Korean-style breakfast, but the same every day • Showroom full of Korean costumes • Sweet girl at reception, although she was a bit shy with foreigners 🤪 • Quiet outside, warm inside, and the air is fresher than in the city What was disappointing: • The TV turns on every time we come back — it’s kinda annoying • Since neither of us knows Chinese, we couldn’t use the voice assistant. We could've used it in English, but nobody helped us set it up (but it’s okay, because we visited just for the weekend) • Disposable towels 😅 (I prefer the soft cuddle of a real towel/bathrobe after a shower) • There were no dental supplies. It was disappointing and unexpected (but maybe it’s okay for a hotel at this price, who knows?) General conclusion: It’s the best option for a Korean-style photoshoot for a few days. Good for sleeping after walking around all day. But if you’re visiting just for the weekend and you don’t need photos, it’s better to stay somewhere near the city centre. As for me, I like fresh air, and in this hotel I could have it. In the city centre it’s only air-conditioned, so this is kinda the better choice for me… What about you? Who knows! A nice guesthouse run by an elderly couple. We stayed twice for one night while waiting for a connecting flight. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. The room is small, but everything is clean and tidy, with fresh linens. You can leave your luggage after checkout, and we spent some time exploring the city before our return flight. We checked in quite late because our flight arrived late, but that wasn't a problem. The only inconvenience was that the cafes within walking distance of the hotel close early in the evening.

I especially liked that this hotel was very clean and tidy. The young man at the front desk, surnamed Wang, was incredibly helpful; he immediately upgraded our room and patiently answered all our questions!

The hotel room was pretty good. We booked a family room, and the beds were wide enough and the bedding was clean. Each room also had its own small courtyard. Even though it's located in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and we slept soundly. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.) I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel... I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08. Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc. After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.

I chose this hostel for my solo trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The 8-person male dorm was very clean, the beds were tidy, and the common areas were well-maintained with no unpleasant smells. All the facilities were new, and the rooftop terrace was a major highlight—a great place to enjoy the breeze and atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and responsive to any issues. The location was convenient, and the value for money was excellent. It's perfect for solo travelers, and I felt very comfortable and confident staying there. I would definitely consider staying here again next time.
