"The hotel's location is pretty good, about 2 kilometers from Wanda Plaza. The decor has a strong local flavor, with plenty of Mongolian horse and morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) elements. The room size was decent, and the front desk staff even upgraded my room for free. The only drawback is the soundproofing. I could clearly hear people talking, singing, and yelling in the neighboring rooms, one after another, all night long. It was like a constant show, from midnight until 5 AM. They certainly had a lot of energy! I didn't get a wink of sleep!"

"This is a grand five-star hotel, very large in scale. The breakfast spread was quite generous, but it was incredibly crowded, likely due to the May Day holiday. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. The hotel's security and service staff were also very attentive and helpful. Our room was in the second building, and I'm not sure if there's a restaurant downstairs, but the hallway, and even our room, had a strong hotpot smell. Even after a day, our clothes still carried the odor. I hope they can address this issue in the future."

"This is the hotel I booked for my exam trip to Ulanqab. Throughout my stay, I truly experienced the comfort and attentive service expected of an international hotel. First, the environment: the room was clean and tidy, especially beautiful in the mornings and afternoons when the sunlight created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was also fully equipped. It's worth mentioning that the pillows and mattress were more comfortable than any other hotel I've stayed in; the pillows seemed to be made of slow-rebound memory foam, which is really important for someone like me who often suffers from insomnia. Secondly, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and the restaurant was clean and bright. Finally, the service: the front desk staff were very kind, polite, and attentive. They even arranged a private car to pick me up from the high-speed rail station after I booked it in the afternoon. This made for a truly seamless stay. I hope to return not for exams, but to experience such thoughtful and heartwarming service again and to feel the charm of Ulanqab's urban culture. I wish the hotel continued success."

"Parking was convenient, the rooms were clean, and the mattresses were the perfect firmness for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local Mongolian snacks. The restaurant staff were friendly and responsible, promptly refilling dishes and serving food.
There were some shortcomings: When checking in at the front desk, I specifically told the staff not to stay on the 4th floor because there was machinery on the top floor that would generate noise, but they lied and said there was no machinery on the top floor and therefore no noise. Trusting Viana, I checked into a room on the 4th floor. However, after settling in and preparing for bed, I discovered a loud buzzing sound, along with the sound of the elevator doors opening and closing. I quickly contacted the front desk, and a technician was sent to check. This technician was very responsible and professional, immediately identifying the problem and changing my room. I slept very well that night. Thank you to this technician; I will continue to give Viana a thumbs up and will choose Viana again next time."

"The room was OK and the overall environment was OK.
A few small suggestions:
1. The hotel with an average price of more than 400 yuan did not have conditioner. My hair was dry after washing.
2. There were a few men at the door one morning. It was a little noisy. Our room was very close to the elevator. The noise made me sleep poorly.
3. The towels were a little yellow? Compared with the towels of many big chain hotels, they were a little bit lame, but they were quite soft.

"This time I came to Ulanqab for a business trip, it was really wise to choose a Home Inn! I felt very comfortable from the beginning of the door. The front desk lady smiled very kindly. The check-in speed was super fast. She also took the initiative to tell me about the delicious restaurants nearby, which was very intimate.
The room is much more spacious than I thought, and it is very clean. The sheets and quilts are brand new and there is no smell. The most pleasant surprise is that the sound insulation is very good, the night is quiet, and the sleep is particularly solid. It was close to the exam venue and the study room. The service was good, and daily necessities were replenished in a timely manner. The Civic Center Square was downstairs, and the environment was good. I had a great stay experience!

JJdalajiaoThe B&B owner was incredibly hospitable, and to my surprise, the room was spotless. Even though it snowed the next day, the room stayed warm – truly excellent. We had dinner at their place, and every dish was delicious. The 'shou ba rou' (hand-grabbed meat), 'ban you mian' (mixed oat noodles), and lamb noodle soup were all very popular, but the milk tea was especially outstanding – the best we've had on our entire trip. There was even a bonfire party in the evening; despite the cold, everyone's enthusiasm kept the chill away. We also got to set off fireworks, and the owner offered very fair prices. The kids absolutely loved it! We went during the May Day holiday, so the grass hadn't turned green yet and it was still a bit cold. The owner recommended visiting after June 20th, so we might have to go back in the summer.

GGuest UserIm impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry.
Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before.
Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

The restaurant offers stir-fries and hotpot, and the adjacent hot spring center is just a stone's throw away. The facilities are all-encompassing, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. In the evening, we enjoyed a high-quality beef and lamb hotpot at the stunning restaurant, followed by an outdoor hot spring soak – pure bliss. The staff were warm and attentive, making the overall experience perfect! This was the most satisfying guesthouse of our trip.

GGuest UserThe room was fairly comfortable and the service was really great. But we kept finding little beetles in our room which made me so itchy at night when sleeping. Also I don’t think they cleaned the floor because we found fake eyelashes and old contact lens on the bathroom floor which was very nasty. They have a washing machine available which was very convenient especially after spending a day in the volcanoes where it’s dusty and all our clothes were dirty. Breakfast was alright…typical inner Mongolian breakfast, nothing special. There’s actually no volcano view but it didn’t really matter much. We were on the second floor and it was nice to be up there. I wish they had better soundproofing windows because every night there’s fireworks and they were so loud and went on until midnight. With a young child, it was impossible to sleep early. Overall, the service was really great!

My problem was the extremely high temperature in my room. I couldn't adjust it at all, I was sweating all night. I don't know why some hotels in Inner Mongolia (I never experienced this in Yunnan, Sichuan and Shaanxi) turn on the heater so much.
The other disturbing thing was the lights that automatically turn on as soon as I set a foot on the floor. I see no need of such things, they just keep me awake. If I need some light, I can turn it on myself.
The town seemed to be pretty dead, only one shop was open at 7 pm. It wasn't so far away, so it's all right.
Anyway, it's a hotel that accepts foreigners without problems, so I'm glad I stayed here.

Hygiene: I am a person who cares very much about housing conditions, especially bathrooms and shower rooms. I didn’t want to take a shower in a public shower room, so I went to visit it first. After the visit, I was surprised that it was very clean, so I took a quick shower before going to bed. Take a hot bath to relieve the fatigue of the day.

The boss and all employees are very approachable, speak politely, and communicate like friends. Especially the little beauty Rong Rong, who is beautiful, kind-hearted, super cute and polite.

Mmoonki kongTour: Near the north gate of Ulan Hada Volcano Park, very convenient
Accommodation: The first day we stayed in a tent camp in another place, with only public toilets. It was very cold and windy at night, so my friend told me to book a better one the next day. So I booked here the next day. I could take a shower, and the room had a separate toilet and toiletries. I felt happy instantly.
Play: The rich brother set off fireworks for us for an hour 🎆 and shared Gatling with us even though we didn't know each other. Everyone was dancing on tricycles, super excited. There was also a big horse with a shoulder height of more than 2 meters 🐴 who let us sit for free, which was really fun.
Eat: Breakfast was amazing with mutton buns. It was the first time I had such delicious mutton buns in my life. They were as big as a fist and juicy. Each of the five of us ate at least 4! Breakfast was from 7:30 to 9:00, and we got up at 7:30 to eat the first wave of mutton buns. I really want to ask the boss if he can mail me some raw buns, I'll eat them (we have two rooms, and I just want to say that such a good homestay is worth reviewing twice!)
