"A friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. "The homestay is part of the ancient city, the environment and service are good, the anti-lock hole of the room is a bit inaccurate, it takes some effort to lift it up😅 Friends who drive by themselves, please note... there is no parking space, leave as soon as possible after unloading the luggage, otherwise the security guards of the community next door will force you to leave😂 The car needs to be parked in the school basement parking lot, which is an 8-minute walk away🅿️ Personally, I give it an overall score... 7.5 points"

"Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu"

"Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained."

"I chose this hotel after reading the reviews. It has a good location and is very close to the pier. It is very pleasant to take a walk by Dajin Lake in the evening, watch the sunset and enjoy the breeze. The B&B is very hygienic and spotlessly clean. I feel reassured. We later upgraded to a suite with tatami mats, and our children were particularly satisfied. The boss is enthusiastic and down-to-earth. He thinks about what we want. It feels very warm when we go out with the whole family. I asked the boss to arrange a dinner. I had one organic fish, two fish, and tofu. It tasted very good and the price was reasonable. I will stay here again when I have the chance next time👍🏻"

GGuest UserJiaojiao Fishing Villa has quiet accommodation, clean and hygienic facilities, and beautiful environment. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Dajin Lake from the window. It is very convenient to eat, live and travel. It feels like home. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic and arrange trips and help book tickets. When we can’t eat the fish soup and leftovers, the boss lady will take the initiative to help us keep them fresh for the next meal. , add some green vegetables to heat and eat, no charge, we spent the cost of one meal to eat two meals, the boss is very practical, like a family, and can talk about anything, take the initiative to make tea, help carry suitcases, etc. . The boss is good at cooking, and the fish soup, fish fillets, and duck are very well made. They are delicious and highly recommended. Thumbs up. It is worth recommending that you feel better immediately. Convenient parking, 9 minutes drive from the ancient city, Dajin Lake, the store is warm, the mattress is clean, the supplies are complete, there is air conditioning, and electric blankets. The breakfast is freshly fried, simple and fresh, and the attractions in Taining are not disappointing. Very good.

AAnonymous UserWhat a fantastic experience! The staff were all very nice. The place was very clean and the facilities were complete. The guesthouse even offered free pick-up and drop-off service from the train station! So thoughtful! It's not far from the center of the old town, and the alleyways leading to Shangshu Mansion offer unique scenery. We also met a really kind driver along the way who offered to pick us up with a simple phone call. Aside from the bad weather, everything was great on this trip.
