An unexpectedly amazing trip! I suddenly decided I wanted to go to Lishui, and a friend recommended Lixia & Hai! I booked on Monday and immediately added Lixia as a friend. Lixia recommended the salt-baked chicken and the herbal jelly from Songyang Old Street, both of which were delicious! She also gave me lots of travel tips. When I arrived at the B&B, it started raining, but Lixia still came to the parking lot to pick me up. The B&B was decorated by Lixia and Haibo, making it feel incredibly cozy and full of love. Lixia and Haibo were also very hospitable, offering bayberries, peaches, coffee, and pomelo tea, all of which were delightful! After another couple arrived, we all went to the vegetable garden to pick vegetables. We picked our dinner ingredients ourselves from the garden and then went to the stream to wash them. This experience was fantastic and incredibly engaging! After picking vegetables, Lixia took us on a tour of the village, and we even discovered the village art gallery! That night, I fell asleep to the sound of the stream and slept incredibly soundly. My Apple Watch gave me a sleep score of 98, a new personal best! I woke up naturally in the morning, and breakfast was delicious. Eating breakfast by the stream with the breeze blowing was so pleasant. By the way, 123 is such a cute dog 🐶🐶, my friend said it's super therapeutic! Two days and one night felt a bit short. Next time I visit, I'll stay longer to truly experience Songzhuang and Lixia & Hai.

The public areas are spacious and open; sitting by the window, gazing at the mountains and listening to the breeze, feels as if time has slowed down. 🛏️The rooms are clean and bright, with soft, comfortable bedding and premium toiletries. Every detail is meticulously crafted, and the service is attentive and thoughtful, like a gentle spring breeze. 🌿The most unforgettable thing is the silence—only the chirping of birds and the rustling of bamboo create a true barrier against the hustle and bustle of the world. He introduced us to the village when he arrived late that day, called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive, and even helped us carry our luggage. The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

When we arrived at the place, the door of the cultural relic-level old house was closed, and the villagers who led the way pushed it open and called out the owner loudly to let us visit and introduce it to us. The B&B we stayed in was the first B&B in the village. It was built entirely out of logs and was designed and constructed by the host himself. When we walked around the village, we found other B&Bs under construction. It turned out that the host was helping to build houses for others. . The proprietress' cooking skills are very good, hotel-level. Our two families, four adults and two children, went out to play together. When the boss saw it, he took the initiative to upgrade us to a large suite, two independent suites plus a living room in the middle, and a small yard in front of the door. On August 15th of this year, I spent admiring the moon, drinking, drinking, and singing in this small courtyard. I will never forget it! Good accommodation doubles the travel experience! The B&B housekeeper service is also very good, and will contact in advance to inform the location and help with luggage. There is also a place next to the B&B that is very suitable for children to play in the water. It takes only 5 minutes to drive there according to the route given by the housekeeper. The water is not deep but very clear, and the children have a lot of fun!

The bad thing is that the room is not soundproof. People on the second floor can hear every move upstairs. In fact, there is no big noise upstairs, but it is clear, footsteps, talking... I hope it can be improved. The window glass is almost soundproof. People passing by outside can hear the slightest sound clearly... The window glass should be single-layer glass. I suggest that the boss change it to double-layer later, at least it will be better... The sanitation is OK, the room is still quite clean, and there is plenty of hot water in the bathroom.
