"Facilities: It's a new Atour hotel, and the bed was very comfortable. However, they surprisingly didn't provide conditioner and body lotion, which you have to buy yourself, which is a bit disappointing.
Cleanliness: Acceptable.
Environment: Acceptable. The breakfast was also quite good.
Service: It was a mixed bag. We were traveling with a child and initially requested a bed rail. However, upon check-in, they said they didn't have any. Then they suggested pushing the bed against the wall, but found it couldn't be moved. Finally, they swapped us to two single beds pushed together. The staff were enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile, but it would have been better if this could have been confirmed in advance."

"My first stop in Northern Xinjiang this New Year was the long-awaited Snow Lotus Hotel. Due to renovations in the VIP building, I stayed in the Welcome Building this time. To my surprise, the room was larger than expected, with new facilities and incredibly warm underfloor heating – so warm that I had to open the windows for ventilation at night. Overall, a nice experience. I was particularly impressed by the half-price Snow Lotus coffee at the first-floor café; it was absolutely delicious."

"I arrived at the hotel between 2 and 3 AM due to some reasons. The next day, breakfast was already over by 10 AM. Thankfully, the service was good; they found me a few eggs, two bags of milk, and some congee to get by. There didn't seem to be many dining options around the hotel. This hotel was just a transit stop for our trip, arriving in the middle of the night and leaving in a hurry in the morning, so I might not be able to give a full review. However, it seems to be a standard hotel with good management, and the value for money is really excellent. It's definitely worth it for travelers who need a layover. I was too rushed to take any photos."

"North Xinjiang self-driving in Karamay, chose this Dingtai hotel, the overall experience exceeded expectations. The hotel is right next to the No. 1 well oil bubble, the location is excellent, you can punch the landmarks when you go out, and the main road to the Devil City is very close. It is especially convenient to travel. Free parking space at the door, self-driving parking is free of pressure.
Check-in at the front desk is efficient and fast, and the service is warm and polite. The rooms are smart in the whole house, voice control lighting curtains, and the facilities are brand new. The room is spacious, the hygiene is very meticulous, the bedding is dry and soft, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the hot water is stable and sufficient. It is quiet at night, and you can sleep well on a long road.
The overall price is very high, whether it is a travel transit or a business trip, it will continue to live here next time you come to Karamay"

Guest UserAmazing hotel. The room was clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. It is designed with practicality in mind and utilises technology to make for a highly comfortable stay. The location is convenient, situated just beside the main shop and restaurant area. Complimentary snacks and drinks were provided during the stay, and they were refilled daily. The hotel also kindly provided a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of food and tastes great. The hotel has no lift, but they have staff to help with carrying luggage up and down the building. The staff were helpful, especially the cleaners, who were super friendly and did a superb job with housekeeping. A small travel gift bag containing snacks was also given upon checking out. It is noted that there is no obvious drop-off point at the front of the hotel as it is sealed off, but you can park at the side or at the back. WiFi access can also be problematic for overseas visitors, as a Chinese number is required.

Guest UserThis guesthouse is highly recommended for those visiting Duku. It's quiet and clean, and the snack street is a three-minute walk away. It's very close to the starting point of Duku. The hostess is warm and welcoming. There's also a free sauna. It's a worthwhile choice for anyone visiting Xinjiang.

American TravelerHad a great 2 night stay. The hotel is new and very well maintained. It is attached to a beautifully decorated and elegant restaurant wit local design, local music and excellent food and service.
Best of all were the two girls behind the front desk that went out of their way to help me booking taxis to the park and arranging transportation to Burqin. It is not so easy for foreigners to figure out transportation options around this part of Xinjiang and they went out of their way to help me and were very kind at all times. While I was at the Devil city park there was a big Sandstorm for about 15 minutes and she even sent me a message to make sure I was okay and to be careful! Really excellent customer service! Thank you!

Guest UserChoosing the GreenTree Inn Museum Branch for our drive through the Duku Highway was a fantastic decision! The location is truly unbeatable – right outside is the Duku Highway Museum, so we didn't have to rush the next morning to hit the road. Plus, there are restaurants and convenience stores all along the street, making dining and shopping incredibly easy.
The room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with no dust or odd smells. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistently strong. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, so we had a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were quick to check us in, very friendly and helpful, even recommending local food spots and offering tips for our Duku Highway trip!

The room is clean and odorless, with complete facilities. The tea bags provided taste good. There is a business district under construction nearby, so it is quiet and not noisy. There is a convenience store downstairs, and it is not far from the business district. It takes only a short drive to get there, and there is no shortage of parking spaces. The breakfast is also rich and delicious. The service attitude is pretty good. It is recommended to use some coffee-flavored aromatherapy or styling to highlight the characteristics of the hotel.

XiaotianlaotianI rarely leave reviews, but this stay far exceeded my expectations, and I'd feel bad not giving it a good rating. Upon check-in, two enthusiastic and down-to-earth young men from Xinjiang helped with our luggage and guided us all the way to our room, even recommending some great local restaurants.
The room itself was truly astonishing. The bathroom alone was almost as big as some small hotel rooms. The room was incredibly spacious, huge, and super clean – very comfortable. It's a shame our trip was so rushed; we had to leave early in the morning for Sayram Lake and didn't get to enjoy such a comfortable room for longer.
The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, and the restaurant staff were also warm and genuine, which made the experience very pleasant. I was in a hurry and forgot to take photos of the room and breakfast. I did manage to snap some pictures of the hotel courtyard, though – it's a garden-style hotel, and the surroundings are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable.
Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience, far beyond what I expected. Thank you.

LuluyaI highly recommend the Mowgli City Tancheng Hotel! It's super close to the Devil's City (Wuerhe Ghost City), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The Western-style architecture creates an amazing atmosphere, and there are photo opportunities everywhere within the resort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated with a full Xinjiang ethnic flair. The staff are warm and attentive, even proactively sharing tips for exploring the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, including a parking lot and EV charging stations, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. This was a super restorative night during our road trip through Northern Xinjiang – definitely the top choice when visiting Wuerhe!
