GGuest UserThis was a cute little place! It's located inside the Dehang Canyon Scenic area (you need to purchase a ticket for ¥80 to enter) which is absolutely gorgeous. It's about an hour hike up to the Tianwen Platform and about 40 minutes to Flow Waterfall in Jiulong Canyon. (Side note: this place was almost empty and I was there during a holiday weekend! Amazing!)
The room looked relatively new and was clean and cutely decorated. It was so pleasant to sit at the small table and relax while listening to the stream right outside the window with the striking mountains in the background.The bed was the usual hard chinese style, but I was so tired that I slept well anyways! The bathroom had a slight smell but I think that was an issue with pipes rather than because of uncleanliness.
The owner came and picked me up from the park gate which was much appreciated after a long journey. His daughter was super cute as well, and gave me a banana and opened the door of my room for me!
I really felt like a guest in someone's home while I was here. It was a welcome feeling, and one that I don't often get while travelling. Overall I would recommend this inn and would return.

Finally, drive carefully as there is a steep slope to the hotel. There are limited parking spaces in front of the hotel. Try to arrive at the hotel as early as possible. If the parking lot is full during the peak season, you may have to stop in the parking lot next to it. If you have luggage, it will be a bit troublesome to climb the steep slope!
We stayed in a glass room with complete facilities and a large enough room. However, in the summer, the sun shines fiercely outside during the day. Even if the curtains are closed, the air conditioner cannot withstand the heat wave. Fortunately, we checked out at 10 o'clock. It should be even hotter at noon!
The most attractive thing about the hotel is the mountaintop swimming pool. The scenery is unparalleled and the Aizhai Bridge is right at your feet. It is indeed a place worth checking in!
I have a small opinion. Because the hotel only has double-bed rooms, we asked for an extra quilt for 20 yuan. There were only two bottles of water in the room. The thing I remember most is the kindness and hospitality of the lovely lady who runs the property. She was so smiley and accommodating. She helped us store our bikes in the lobby and carry our bags upstairs. We arrived a little early for check in and she offered us drinks from the refrigerator while we were waiting. In the morning she had been practicing English and asked us in English where we were from, where we were going and welcomed us to China and wished us luck with our journey.
