"Hotel was centrally located with KFC, McDonald and Pizza hut not more than 2-3 mins walk and also good Chinese restaurants nearby. There are shopping malls too very close so the location is very good. Rooms are spacious and clean and staff is friendly and polite. The only problem is that the Front Desk staff don't speak English and they don't accept Intl Credit cards. Train station is 20-25 mins drive from the hotel and a DIDI will cost about 24-30 Rmb to the Railway Station,, which is very nice and modern. My stay was very good."

BBaizhouI've come here every year before, but the National Day holiday traffic was terrible, and it took over four hours to get there. This time, the South Zone was booked out, so I could only get a room in the East Zone. The first floor looked newly renovated, and there wasn't much of a renovation smell, but the room had a musty smell as soon as I entered. I immediately turned on the air conditioner and opened the windows to ventilate, and even after swimming and using the hot springs, the smell persisted. Before going to bed that night, I caught about ten small flying mosquitoes under my pillow. I don't know why they were gathered there; the cleanliness was very disappointing.
The next day, I changed rooms. The walls, curtains, and window frames weren't very clean, and I had to call a cleaning lady to sweep the floor again; there was hair and dust.
The restaurant was much more expensive than last year, the ingredients were fresh, but the food was on the salty and spicy side.
The water in the East Zone swimming lanes was very hot. Maybe because there were fewer people, it looked clear, but there was still a layer of dirt visible at the bottom and on the pool walls.
The wave pool and the normal-temperature pool had tons of leaves and branches, unlike another place I went to where there were practically none; the staff would remove them as soon as they saw them.
The spring water swimming pool had a lot of silt at the bottom, and several of the public hot spring pools were too hot to use, a waste.
Breakfast was slow to arrive and the selection was limited.

There are many restaurants if you walk perpendicular to the river, and the shopping mall is a 7-8 minute walk along the river. I booked the cheapest room, which had a window facing an outdoor fire escape. It was 69 yuan a night with various discounts offered by Ctrip. I was satisfied with the facilities and hygiene. What was unexpected was that rooms at this price had good chairs and tables for reading and working, with bright spotlights on them.

The hotel environment was the aspect I was most worried about before I came, but I was really surprised after coming here. I can fully see the results of the renovation of the main building. My family thinks that there is no smell in the house. The fifth floor is very quiet, the sound insulation is also good, the toilet is also clean and bright, and the quilts and sheets are very dry. Because I read a lot of online reviews, I brought my own sheets, slippers, earplugs, etc. Now it seems that it is completely unnecessary hahaha
