"It can be said that I wrote this review with a little excitement! This is my first time to Duyun and my first time staying at Dragonair. I am very impressed by the delicious food and beautiful scenery of Duyun and the warm service of Dragonair. Dragonair Hotel is right on the Jianjiang River and very close to Xishan Bridge. It is very convenient to walk back and forth. The business king room I stayed in was very large and well cleaned. On the night of check-in, the hotel front desk called and asked if it was convenient to have milk delivered. This is a rare service even in five-star hotels. When the milk was delivered, I said that the air conditioner in the room was not cool. Maybe I had adjusted it wrong. The waiter pressed the button. After a few seconds, he told me it was ready and then left. Ten minutes later, the front desk called me again and asked me if the air conditioner was cold and how I felt. It was very considerate. The next day I got up early to check out. The front desk took the initiative to give me a bag of snacks and mineral water for me to eat on the way. In the afternoon, the front desk called me again to ask if I was satisfied with my stay and if I had any comments or suggestions. The most important thing is that from the time I checked in to the end, no one asked me to give them a good review. When I arrived in Guiyang in the evening, I opened the snack bag and looked at this heart-warming card. It felt like it was a perfect ending to this trip. . I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Dragonair when visiting Duyun, and I wish Dragonair’s business will get better and better!"

"Although the breakfast is simple, it is OK. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and has a good service attitude. We booked 4 rooms in total. The temperature was very high that day, nearly 30 degrees Celsius. When we entered the room, we turned down the air conditioner, but there was no cooling at all. After communicating with the front desk, the reply was that the air conditioner host had not been turned on. The reason was that the temperature in Duyun in March in previous years was not so high. The air conditioning system had not been cleaned and disinfected, so it could not be turned on for the time being, and only the air supply could be turned on. Later, the front desk suggested that we change the room to a different direction. Although there was no air conditioning, the windows in that direction were opened for natural ventilation, so it was relatively not so hot. The hotel is not small in scale, but it does not have its own restaurant (there is only a small restaurant that provides buffet breakfast), and you have to go out to find it yourself."

"The legendary hotel for turtles!!! I'm a BJYX fan from Indonesia and I came to Duyun to visit BJYX related spots, and this hotel is of course one of them! Booked another hotel first, since I didn't know that the infamous make up room and telephone box is in this hotel. Tried to look for those places in Qin Han (lacked information, my bad), but then realized they're not there, and then after looking for some more information on Weibo, I decided to change the hotel for the last day to Maojian, and I'm glad I did that! Maojian is in front of QinHan Film City, so you can just walk there. Best hotel if you want to visit the film city. The receptionists don't speak English, we were communicating by Google Translate. They let me check in at around 12:30 even though the actual check in time is from 14:00. They also upgraded my room. Very happy! And since I read from the reviews on this platform, that you can take a look inside the room where our WangXian got interviewed, I tried to ask the receptionist about it and then she called people to guide me there. The guide lady is also super nice, that she even offered me to change the room to that room. It's already booked by other people though, unfortunately. But, it's okay! I roamed around the hotel after that, visiting the telephone box, jogging track, and make up room of course is a MUST! Thank you so much for keeping these spots for us, CQL and BJYX fans! Please always keep it like that! Will visit again someday! Love from Indonesia 😘 P.S.: Love the milk in the buffet breakfast, not too sweet, just nice and warm 💕"

I thought it was a bus to send the exam, but the next morning I found that it was all private cars. It was the staff's own coordinated relatives and friends to help send the exam. I was really touched. Every step was arranged in an orderly manner. Everyone was trying their best to help the candidates. The breakfast aunt was enthusiastic and proactive, telling everyone that it was too late to pack and take away, and the information on the table was also taken to help with the bag. AAnonymous UserThe location feels a bit remote since the surroundings are mostly unused buildings, so it's a bit creepy at night if you walk around by yourself. Not many people walk the street. I don't know whether it's because I went there in winter or it is usually like that. Have to walk around 10 minutes to get to the street with many restaurants and food stalls, but the receptionist sister is so kind and let me add her WeChat account in case I need some help when going to that food street. It'd be nice if they sell something to eat in the lobby/lounge though. The inn itself is pretty clean and you can find necessary amenities in your room. The heater was not really working though. It was set to 30°C, but I was still freezing inside. I could only feel warm and nice after the hot shower. Yeah, luckily the hot shower worked as it should have. But, the water leaked through the shower room's glass door, so you need to dry it with the towel mat if you don't want to slip. The ceiling also needs some repair or at least re-painting since it looked like it was leaking even though it maybe not. I chose this inn since it is not that far from Qin Han Film City and it's cheap. Overall, I guess it's worth the price.

MMVBI traveled to Old Kapok Cloud Art Village in July 2025 with my 18 year old son and three nephews during a month-long trip to China. Everyone agreed that our brief stay there was their favorite part of the entire trip! They all said they want to return and stay much longer than 2 days. It is absolutely beautiful, meticulously clean, interesting, and the most special location. The breakfast was delicious and the people there were so friendly and helpful with all of our requests. My son and his cousins quickly befriended one of the staff and hope that they can keep in touch in the future. I cannot say enough good things about all aspects of our visit. We chose that location because it is close to the tea plantation that surrounds the hotel grounds, but our stay within the Kapok Village hotel was as wonderful as the tea plantation experience itself.  This is a 5-star experience that will leave a life-long impression. They offer not only a comfortable, elegant setting, they mix that with gracious hosting. Thank you for the most wonderful experience for my family!

The wall-mounted air conditioner was fine; the central air conditioning wasn't as effective at cooling, but the airflow avoided blowing directly on the bed, making it comfortable for sleeping. Because we booked multiple rooms, we wanted the hotel to arrange them together, so we called several times beforehand but no one answered. Upon arrival, this resulted in two room changes, which was inconvenient for everyone. Fortunately, the front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel manager was very cooperative; thank you all! This hotel is one of the closest to the Da Xiao Jing scenic area, as it includes breakfast.
