"I stayed here with my family for the Chengmai half marathon. We had a 2 floor room which made it very convenient to not wake up my family when I got ready and left early for the race. Breakfast was great, our room was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I’d ask is for the hotel to provide a shuttle bus to the start of next year’s race. It was difficult to get to the start from this location because of road closures. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Yishang Hotel is located in the old town of Chengmai. The location is very good and convenient for travel. The hotel is very new and has good facilities. Almost the entire room can be remotely controlled by voice (shout ”Xiaodu Xiaodu”). The service attitude of the front desk clerk is very good, he answers all questions and is warm and kind. After staying for three days, the only flaw was the TV. It is claimed to be smart, but ”Aurora TV” cannot be opened, and ”Mobile Screen Mirroring” has not yet been enabled. Only IPTV can be used. The hotel is convenient to access, especially there are many delicious local foods around. I went out with friends, and there was a barbecue in the hotel with beer. The hotel met all our needs. The waiter was very enthusiastic and introduced the hotel facilities and dining times one by one. I will come to this hotel again next time

Ffor 3 years in ChinaThis hotel could be a perfect getaway for couples if they were more focused on the spa part. The hot springs next to each building are really nice and hot. The lighting however could be more inviting instead of cold white. Also the wooden walkways could use a prep up.
The Spa itself looks really inviting, but during our stay, there was only one masseur available. So no partner massage possible, even though it was 2 bed massage rooms. Also the massage was quite pricey with just about 700¥ per hour.
The breakfast was OK. Nothing to really look forward to as European, but edible and coffee was available. Additionally, there is a fresh fruit plate for the room each day. The staff (not speaking any english) tried it's best.
Lastly, the hotel is quite remote. There is really nothing much to do in the near surrounding. So have a car ready or settle for a taxi ride for 30 minutes to Haikou city...

They lived up to expectations and let the children get together as they wished. Every child was very happy and didn't want to leave the hotel to play somewhere else.
