"This hotel is right next to Wengen train station, making it super convenient, and it's also very cozy and charming. When we arrived at 11 PM, the front desk attendant was incredibly patient with us. We later found out the kettle in our room wasn't working, but they responded immediately and fixed it on the spot. The hotel breakfast had a decent variety, and the restaurant itself is genuinely beautiful, haha. We booked dinner there one evening, and it cost us 160 CHF for two. Both the service and the food were impeccable. The waiter even let us, who know nothing about wine, sample a few reds. The view from the window is absolutely stunning, though it does depend a bit on the weather. We had a very enjoyable two-night stay!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Wengen. Its location is excellent, right next to the train station and within easy walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores. The views are stunning, and having breakfast while overlooking the Swiss Alps was a highlight of the stay. The breakfast itself was also very good. One of my favourite memories was watching the World Cup from our balcony while the crowd gathered downstairs, it created such a fun atmosphere. The restaurant below the hotel plays pleasant music throughout the day and into the evening. It didn’t bother us, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer a very quiet stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. If I had one complaint, it would be the smell of cooking that occasionally lingered in the corridor outside the rooms."

The room is relatively large for Switzerland, but there is a diagonal beam in the middle that affects the perception and walking space. The dry and wet areas are too far apart, which is actually not very convenient when using. The wet area also lacks wastepaper baskets and other items that affect use. Hygiene: The public areas and rooms are very clean, mainly because it has just opened not long ago, and the smell of new decoration in the corridor is still relatively strong. There are still signs of unfinished renovation on the outside, especially there is garbage on the ground, and it will be muddy on rainy days. Environment: Needless to say, facing the snow-capped mountains and cliffs, the weather was just average on the day we checked in, so it affected the whole experience. Service: The central heating was turned off in May, but it was only five or six degrees on the mountain, very cold, shivering in the room, there was no partition in the shower area, so it would be cold to take a shower. There was no electric kettle, so we had to rely on the Delonghi coffee machine to boil water, but the one in our room was also broken. In general, the room price of around 3,000 is understandable for a small town on the top of the mountain, but the facilities could be better."

"This is the first time I came to review a hotel so early. I spent more than 180 Swiss francs, but it turned out to be a dormitory. The room was very small. "Love the stay at Eiger! Hotel was opposite the train station and butler was at the train station to help us with the luggage without even us asking for help. Got a room with the mountain view and it’s so beautiful! Definitely recommended and would love to come back to this hotel if we were to be back at Mürren. "Although the location of the hotel is on the uphill section of the town, you can contact the hotel to pick you up after arriving at the train station.
