Radisson Hotel Group is implementing the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, a new program of in-depth cleanliness and disinfection procedures, in partnership with SGS, the world’s leading Health and Safety inspection company. The Radisson Hotels Safety protocol is an extension to the brand commitment which includes 20 Steps and an additional 10-Step protocol for Meetings and Events. These steps include hand sanitizing stations at all entrances, the use of Personal Protective Equipment-PPE, and protective screens, enhanced and recorded cleaning and disinfection frequency, social distancing in all areas of its hotels, reiteration of food safety standards and comprehensive staff training. For additional information please refer to www.radissonhotels.com/safe. Located by the sea, our hotel is steps away from the beach where you can relax, take a dip, or build a sand castle any time. Further inland is the vibrant city center, just a short walk away. Admire the iconic Crooked House or spend some time exploring the famous street of Ulica Bohaterow Monte Cassino with its lively vibe and selection of cafés, bars, and restaurants. Head back towards the sea whenever you want—take a walk on Europe’s largest wooden pier and climb to the top of the impressive lighthouse near it to take in sweeping views. If you are a culture buff, head to the Sopot Museum housed in a 20th century mansion. The maritime city even has its own Wax Museum and it is a fun place to visit with children as is the Aqua Park in the city with its indoor and outdoor pools.
"The hotel is very nice and located in a great location, the rooms are also of a great standard, the breakfast is delicious, with a huge selection, the service is very nice.
The only downside is the introduction of a time limit in the pool and sauna area (1 hour a day) and a large number of people from outside coming to the pool. I understand that the hotel wants to earn money this way, but the situation in which hotel guests have to wait in a queue because there are no free places in the pool, and a group of 8 people from outside enters before us is not very comfortable. In addition, due to this huge number of people, there was not a single free sunbed or even a place to put your things (books or bathrobes) while using the pool.
I think that when paying almost PLN 1,000 per night for 2 people with a child, guests should have priority entry to the spa area or the time limit should be higher than 1 hour. We came to the hotel regularly and one of the reasons for choosing it was the great pool and sauna area, where you could really relax - that is why we are very disgusted with how it looks now."
