"The hotel room area is ok, located in Ben Nevis in the middle of the mountain, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, like nature or hiking is really great, because there are hiking trails, if you like off-road cycling, here there is a cable car can go straight to the top of the track."

"It was late when we arrived. The landlord had been waiting for us. There was a hand sanitizer prepared at the door. The host was very enthusiastic. He introduced us to the surrounding environment and told us where to eat. The room is on the second floor, you can see the sea by opening the window, the scenery is very beautiful"

"The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the supermarket and McDonald's. The breakfast is not worth it, not tasty, and quite expensive. You can go directly to McDonald's for breakfast. The supermarket has everything, you can buy it directly and eat it in the hotel. The hotel facilities are a bit old."

"When I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay a little bit more than what was advised by trip.com, but every penny was worth it!
Location is great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room was absolutely fantastic, and the full Scottish breakfast was generous and tasty. The only disappointment was I couldn't get a bath because the bathtub obturating plug didn't work properly. However, the overall experience was good. Thank you!"

GGuest UserI didn't pay attention to the email. The check-in time was 7 o'clock at the latest. The UK was still very bright at 8 o'clock. I contacted by phone and the front desk staff who had already got off work helped us get the key from a confidential small box. 🔑! Comrades, you must learn English well, not everything can be translated into software. We chose the shape of a boat, the interior is decorated with solid wood, sofa, bed, washroom, kitchen, you can drink coffee and processed food, everything is available, the floor is also covered with a whole calf skin carpet, there is a small window that can be opened on the side, and the door is looking out to the lake. It is a super combination of practical and beautiful scenery!

Staying here in the morning, you can see the mountains and lakes, very good. When you come, it is recommended to buy some food in the supermarket on the road. It is not convenient to buy food here.

SScott_SCWThe room is spacious and there is an electric heater to keep it from getting cold. Attic-style dome windows are very novel. The breakfast was rich and delicious. You must make a reservation for dining in the restaurant, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. The service is very enthusiastic. The hotel has no laundry service, no slippers, and a hair dryer. The parking lot is large, the hotel has beautiful scenery, and there is a swimming pool.

何何The check-in experience this time was very poor. The hotel is a bit far away from William Paul, and it is relatively hidden. There was no waiter when I arrived at the hotel. I knocked on the door for a long time and no one answered. I saw the sign on the wall, and I had to go to another castle hotel 8 minutes away group. When I took a shower in the bathroom after check-in, the light on the roof suddenly fell off, accompanied by the falling of the stone, which hurt my hand for 3 days! There is no waiter in the hotel, so I called us to deal with it in the morning of the second day.

GGuest UserReally great Hotel. Cheapest around as well so don’t really get when people book cheap hotels and complain that it’s not 5* 😂. Location is amazing. The Loch is beautiful. Staff are really nice. Rooms have everything you need and are quite spacious. Food is really good although a wee bit expensive but still good sized portions.

If the hotel parking lot is full, you can park the public parking lot 50 meters away and stay free before 8:00. The house is older, the room is small, and the facilities are old. GGuest UserThe hotel is looking and feeling very tired and dated and in serious need of upgrading. They’re charging 2025 prices for 1980 standard services. They clearly cater for bus tours and large parties which are not there to appreciate where they are and their surroundings. There was serious problem with running hot water in the room as well as in the showers in the spa. I overheard many guests complaining about no hot water in their rooms at reception.
Breakfast was very disappointing, they offer a continental selection of one type of cold meat and one type of sliced cheese with pan loaf bread! Fort William boasts artisan bakery’s so no excuse there. During breakfast very loud 80s movie themed music is blaring, the dining room is so big there’s practically a speaker above every second table. When asked to turn it down we were met with a standard reply, “I was just asked to turn it up”. Totally unbelievable. Due to the large parties tables are not cleared fast enough nor cleaned, we had to clean and set our own table before we could eat and this is where we were directed to sit. Waiting staff are clearly not trained nor directed appropriately for a hotel boasting a high standard. We were not encouraged to dine in the hotel at all.
The exterior of the building is not only showing signs of disrepair but is also very dirty. They are missing the B in the main signage and is the first thing you see on arrival.
Positives: the room was clean although all views from most rooms do not look out onto anything nice. Temperature of the pool, steam room and jacuzzi excellent. The lounge bar appeared to have the best atmosphere and felt like a highland hotel.
Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely not!
Would I stay there again? Definitely not!
