"A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again."

"Conveniently close to the Meilan airport. Bright, clean room with all the expected things you’d want for your stay. Friendly staff who were helpful. Nice Carpet in the corridor. Mostly quiet but the window double layer in the room doesn’t fully close and outside noise can be heard clearly from the bathroom window. A range of snacks and drinks can be bought from the reception area. I enjoyed my stay and it was reasonably priced."

"After Sanya, I headed to Haikou and stayed at the InterContinental Haikou Seaview. The hotel is located along the scenic Binhai Road, offering stunning views of the Qiongzhou Strait.
The location was perfect, with easy access to a park connector and a mall. I loved taking evening strolls here; it was so peaceful and windy, which I enjoyed.
Check-in was seamless, and the staff were professional and attentive. My room was spacious and modern, with a large window offering panoramic sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the toilet made getting ready and unwinding for the day luxurious! Yes, they have a bidet in the bathroom.
The only downside was the weak air conditioner, so we slept with the balcony open. I also wished they provided bath salts or bath bombs to enhance the bathtub experience.
Overall, this was my favorite hotel in Haikou. It’s slightly away from the main attractions, but it’s perfect for relaxation, eating, and shopping. I would definitely stay here again!"

The journey from getting off the plane to the hotel is very convenient. It is very friendly for people who catch early flights or land late. It can be reached in a few minutes by car, and there is no need to drag luggage around. When checking in, the lady at the front desk smiled very kindly and efficiently. She quickly got the room card and also introduced the hotel facilities and breakfast time attentively.
The layout in the room is eye-catching. Cleanliness and tidiness are the basis, and the details are more surprising-the bedding is soft and comfortable. Lying down is like sinking into the clouds, and the fatigue of the journey dissipates instantly; the bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, hot water comes quickly, and the fragrance of toiletries is also very fresh. Pull open the curtains, the view outside is wide, and it is particularly pleasant to watch the sunset in the evening.
The breakfast on the second day is particularly rich, with both Chinese and Western styles, as well as Hainan-style snacks. The taste is very authentic and the ingredients are fresh. GGuest UserThis was our 3rd time staying with the hotel . We love the service and the location , this time though we were given a room that smelled terribly and were given another one when requested that was better . The breakfast quality wasn’t as we are used to on the first day but next day was better . The room we were given has no hand soap but we were given it after we requested one . They were having some work done and it was very noisy . Again they asked the workers to stop once we called . Overall it is a good hotel and great service just few inconveniences this time . We will go back again . Our child loves it.

GGuest UserYou won't be disappointed when you choose Mission Hills Hotel for your vacation. Beautiful resort and polite staff! There will be a dedicated staff to answer your queries. The lady attending to me (Coco) was patient and kind, and allowed my extension of stay as I wanted to head to the hot spring before my check out. The hotel even went the extra mile to serve you piping hot green bean soup which warms our stomachs and hearts after our hot spring soak! If I come back to Haikou, I will come here again!

GGuest UserI decided to extend my stay, because everything at this hotel is amazing! The staff, the room, the facilities, breakfast... I absolutely LOVED the hot springs, fish spa and pool! Great views from the balcony. I would also recommend the Japanese restaurant on site - I tried several kinds of sushi and compliments to the sushi master! The Western restaurant was just okay in comparison. The sushi was really great!
I want to praise duty manager Helsey Huang who went above and beyond in helping guests (thank you again for everything!) as well as Daisy Xie who was in charge of the amazing breakfast. If I hadn't been so jetlagged, I would have wanted to eat all morning. I wish I had taken a photo of the many delicious choices!
I can also vouch for the massage by Ellen 韦雪兰. I went to her twice - I felt so much better afterwards. The spa is huge with several private rooms with bathrooms and showers. Very delicious tea as well. It just made for a very relaxing atmosphere.
A huge plus was also the fish spa and hot springs/pool. It was very relaxing to just soak in the water for a bit, overlooking the river. The whole garden outside is really nice, with hammocks and swings.
I also want to thank Benny Lu who helped me during checkout - I really appreciate his kindness. If I hadn't made plans to go to Sanya, I would have stayed even longer.
Also, as a side note: the entire hotel smells amazing! I hope I get to stay there again sometime. I would definitely stay again!

The room is quite smart, the tatami is very comfortable, and the full-length mirror is also very popular. In addition to mineral water, the room is also equipped with two large bottles of distilled water, and there are also several bottles of drinks in the minibar, so we don’t need to buy water separately when we go out to play.
We came during the Dragon Boat Festival and stayed for two days. There was no premium, which was really conscientious! The hotel provides free breakfast, which is more exquisite. The staple food has changed for two days, and the snacks are similar. In addition, the freshly cooked Hainan noodles and Yi noodles are very fresh. The manager also told us that we can take away coconut water for free.
There is a free laundry room and gym on the seventh floor. If you stay for a few more days, you can really come to run.

LLaura EI stayed at this hotel for three nights before heading to Sanya. I chose it because they offered free airport pickup and it’s only a 10-minute walk from Haikou East Rail Station (Haikoudong / 海口东). I wanted to be closer to the city rather than staying in the Meilan area near the airport. As a non-Chinese speaker, I relied mainly on Didi taxis to get around when visiting other parts of the city. Didi rides are inexpensive and convenient (Didi is integrated into my Alipay app).
The hotel it’s located off a busy avenue with heavy traffic. There’s a small snack shop right next to the hotel. To the left, in the direction of the train station, there are a few small street food stalls, and to the right, a bit further away, there’s a wider selection of fast food shops. I didn’t explore if there were any proper restaurants in the area. The hotel has a coffee shop but I didn’t use.
The airport pickup service was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel staff were very helpful when I needed assistance with a few things. Since I don’t speak Chinese, I used a translation tool.
I found the bed very comfortable—though I prefer firm beds, so it suited me perfectly. There was also a choice of pillows with different thicknesses. As a light sleeper, I was pleasantly surprised by how well I slept, as there wasn’t much noise to disturb me.
Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I did notice that the cleanliness could be improved. For example, there was a significant amount of dust under the bed. That said the common areas of the hotel seemed well- maintained.

CCurlygirl_travelsThe Hilton hotel is a very busy hotel, but they have relatively good service. Check in was efficient and I could go to my room even though I checked in before 1pm. So thank you for that, when I went to my room there was a bad sewer smell in the hall, but housekeeping got an air purifier installed in The hallway and that smell was gone for the rest of the stay. The room was clean, bed soft and view lovely.
The hotel is a little off from the main attractions of Qilou old street/ century bridge but a short didi ride brought me to those locations in no time.
Breakfast was delicious but had a small variety. The breakfast time is very busy make sure to check the little note at the front desk, I didn’t see it and went at the busiest time of breakfast rush.
I had a nice stay here only thing to complain about is, the hand wash/ lotion is placed so far away from the sink, I had to squeeze myself between the tub to go and get some after a shower.

NNyamdorj BatjargalSome lights are not turning off there is no switch for those lights. When went to sleep I had to shut down my electricity because some lights never go off. Service was fine. No one of them can speak English. Hotel was old.

Yyo weoii_I love this hotel so muchhhh~ due to their exterior mordern design and despite having my parents who are too old to climb stairs, they gave us level 2 instead of level 4. So kind of the 帅哥哥, 哈哈~ cause they really don't have an elevator here. More like exercising with stairs, the hotel room was very spacious and they have the toiletries you need. same as my previous hotel, there were no fridge but is okay. There's also a shared laundry area, to dry, iron and more. There's hotel umbrella to use too! Checking out was cool, you get to self checkout! Area around the hotel is convenient, near to Haikou Train station! Plus buffet eatery in a few blocks. If you want to go for more eatery or shopping, you will need to call for a cab, or you may ask the staff to help call for a cab :) The staffs are very nice and one of the staff, wenwen she gave me some great locations to explore in Haikou. Thank you so much! Really appreciated! Plus they also provide Breakfast services, which includes with 1 set of 2 bread, 1 milk/soymilk, fruits. You can even ask them to send it to your room! And OMG they even have the ice cream MACHINE 😭😍 you get to do it yourself! I nailed it on my first try..😅 tasty vanilla ice cream! Area around hotel is cleanliness 🥰 they also have vending machine to get your coffee day started~ There's also a cafe that's opening soon, I really would like to try their coffee someday once is fully opened! Overall is a great vibe, chill place, good place for couples and friends/kids to hang out. Except it'll be abit hard for the elderly cause it's just stairs. Their Toilet is clean and spacious~ shower cubicle too~ their mirror is soo cool they have this touch on n off button on the mirror for the mirror light. And if you need help or services, feel free to add their wechat using the QR code while you're in your room and they'll help with whatever you need. It's soo high tech in this hotel. Would totally go for it again! haha

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apartment. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
