"From check in to check out, the service and hospitality of the hotel has been truly wonderful. The staff were warm and accommodating, helping us with special requests on food, late check out and other queries. Special shout out to Ilham at Sugarbeats who served us over 2 days! The hotel was also beautiful with the beach and water features in their landscaping. Every one of our rooms faced the beach and made this holiday feel very relaxed and lovely. Only downside was that slots for their spa was very quickly booked up, so do make a booking request as soon as you can."

"The room was clean and spacious, and the view from the balcony was good. However, the room felt slightly off-kilter, was a bit dim, and had a low ceiling, which could make it feel a bit stifling. Breakfast offered four menu choices, and the food was decent. A Grab ride from the hotel to Tanjung Uban Terminal cost approximately 30,000 KRW. In Bintan, exploring attractions like snorkeling or the Blue Lake can eat up a lot of your time due to travel. My personal advice is to either plan your itinerary very efficiently, skip these activities altogether, or consider them as a day trip. A free shuttle service is reportedly available between the hotel and BBT Terminal, taking approximately 5 minutes. Swimming while enjoying the sea view was lovely. Definitely bring a shower filter!"

"Biru is the villa area of Nawan Garden. The environment is very good. The waiter sent us to the door of the room with great enthusiasm. The single bed in the bedroom is a bit small and can only sleep one adult. If there are many people, you can put the two single beds together. The bathroom is a bit simplistic, if you need a comb toothbrush you can call. The overall feeling in Bintan is that people are very good. Even if the communication is not too smooth, they will not bother to explain. My request is to know one or two keywords. The only regret is that I saw a mini zoo in Nawan, I wanted to take the children to the waiter and told me that I was gone."

"Everything was great but please learn to delivery ”no” message to your customer instead of stalling tactic. We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room. But we noticed neighboring units were empty.. and due to low occupancy, the breakfast was ala-carte instead of buffet."

"Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future."

"Came here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. We will definitely be back!"

"I would like to thank the staff at Holiday Inn Resort for their friendliness, especially the front desk receptionist, Dhea. She patiently explained the hotel room details upon my arrival, and during my departure, she went the extra mile by assisting us in obtaining our ferry boarding passes before we reached the terminal. We are truly grateful for her outstanding service. Overall, our 3D2N stay was excellent! A couple of areas that could be improved: • The room’s fridge could be cooler. • Dinner options at the resort could be better and more variety. We had a wonderful experience and would love to return again."
