"Our first night in Guangxi, after driving all the way from Shenzhen. We had booked the Panoramic Mountain View King Room at Daxin Hualu Hotel. Overall, the amenities and design of the hotel were superior to the service provided. The guesthouse's design and the aesthetic of its mountain surroundings were impressive. Waking up and standing on the balcony, we enjoyed the view of endlessly rolling mountains and vast emerald green wheat fields. However, the service staff were rather indifferent and unwelcoming. We didn't see any sign of a dedicated butler from check-in to check-out. Our highly anticipated dinner turned out to be quite underwhelming. We had placed our dinner order in advance while en route: Steamed Green Bamboo Fish (Guangdong Style) 128 RMB Zhuang-style Cured Pork 88 RMB Garlic Asparagus Lettuce 38 RMB White Rice 3 RMB * 2 portions — Total: 260 RMB (P.S.
