A bit old but clean room. Staff is not good in English. The sand onsen is attached in hotel which is convenient. Yet, the sand is not hot enough.

This is the most expensive hotel I stay in my 8 days trip in Kagoshima, however, the quality of the hotel, whether in terms of the hardware or software, does not match with the price. The most astonishing thing is I was told I need to set the bed by myself as that is not included in the hotel service of my room type and I was never informed when I placed my booking. Really beyond my understanding of the basic service of a proper hotel.

Overall is ok,breakfast and dinner not my expectations .

A hot spring hotel near the sea, a ten-story Japanese-style sea view room, with an unobstructed sea view outside the window, the scenery is very good. I gave you a sand bath coupon for the hotel's own sand bath hot spring, so you don't even have to go to the Sand Le Hall. The specialty of Ibusuki is the sand bath. You can’t take pictures, so just use the pictures on the official website to take a look. You can soak for ten minutes at most, half the amount for children, and a staff member will wake you up when the time is up. The swimming pool is open during this season. The hotel has a free shuttle service to Ibusuki Station in the morning, leaving at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. You need to make a reservation one day in advance. Dinner was Satsuma cuisine, which was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and delicious taste. Breakfast is buffet style. The Iwasaki Hotel next door actually had small fireworks on 8.12 nights, and I was lucky enough to catch them. The foreign girl at the front desk speaks very good English. She introduced herself as an expatriate from Dubai who has been working in Japan for 5 years. Now she speaks Japanese better than English 🙂

It was worth the price! It's a shame that we couldn't take any commemorative photos in the sand bath. I hope it will be a good memory for the family.

I have never had such terrible dinner and breakfast ~ The hotel is very old, but the hygiene is decent For the sake of sand steaming away, but not as good as imagined ~ The service is quite good.

A traditional Japanese-style house. The indoor facilities are very old and have traces of history. The room is clean and tidy. The sand bath and hot spring are very good and comfortable. We booked a stay and two meals. The dinner was good, including beer, red wine, white wine and shochu. There is all you can drink, but the breakfast is relatively simple and not very tasty. The overall feeling is still very good, I would like to come again if I have the chance.

The hotel is right next to the bus station, which is very convenient. The room faces the sea, and I occasionally see trains passing by, so I enjoy the quiet life in the countryside. There are sand bath facilities in the hotel. Use other sand baths and steam in the hot sand for 10 minutes. It is very comfortable. Then take two steps back to the bath to wash away the sand on your body. Then take a shower and then you can soak in the indoor and outdoor areas of the hotel. The outdoor hot springs drove away fatigue. We went to enjoy another hot spring bath before breakfast the next day. The hotel provides one room, two meals, and free alcoholic drinks for dinner. I chose hot sake, a small bottle is very delicious. After checking out in the morning, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to take guests to Ibusuki Station, which is great.

At the end of 2017, I was in Kagoshima to count down the New Year's Eve. I stayed at the Ibusuki Phoenix Hotel for one night and I felt very comfortable. I came back again after a few years. The hotel's appearance and facilities have gone through some weather, and it feels a bit old, but the hotel's service is still attentive and considerate. The whole family likes the hot sand baths and hot springs here. The dinner for one stay and two meals is ordinary Japanese cuisine, which tastes good. I hope I have the opportunity to come to Ibusuki Phoenix for vacation next time.

Then you can walk back to the hot spring bath to wash off the sand on your body, and then you can soak in the hot spring to drive away your fatigue. The breakfast is also good.

Dinner is a kaiseki style, which may not suit Koreans a little, but it is good to experience. Facilities are easy to use as there are table tennis courts and vending machines, and overall it is good because it has a sea view. The staff is friendly and I think it's the best value for money.

The hotel looked like it had been built for a long time, but the facilities were maintained satisfactorily. The staff was very friendly and the meal was tasty enough. Sand bathing was a very good experience.

The room is very old, probably renovated at least 20 years ago, and it is far from the station! You need to take a taxi! Not recommended. But the sand hot spring is good. Breakfast and dinner are just average.
