This place is filthy. The location is great and it is beautiful - but my friend found a contact lens in his bed, there was hair in mine and the toilets looked like they had never been cleaned.

The rooms are very basic. I stayed in the winter and the heat was not strong enough so I had to wear some jackets to bed. However, if you want to stay at the top of Huashan without spending a ton of money this is your best bet.

You don’t have many options on the top of the mountain. Be ready that there is no shower. ❗️to get there faster, choose the longest bus (40rmb) and the longest cableway (120rmb) + the place looks authentic + traveling in winter might be cold, but the owner provides two heaters and it was nice + free hot water + close to the view point - toilet didn’t work - no curtains for privacy

The location is great — it’s the closest accommodation, about a 20-minute walk from the West Cable Car station. The view is beautiful, and the room was clean. However, there was no water provided at all. The toilets were dirtier than the public ones around the mountain, and there were only two available. It was difficult to change clothes, and I even had to buy bottled water just to wash my face. The room arrangement was very poor. As a solo female traveler, I was placed in a room with two men, even though there was another room full of women with available beds. When I asked the female staff to change rooms, she refused. I then asked the staff at the counter, who allowed me to move to the women’s room. I understand it’s a mixed dorm, but placing one woman in a room with two men while there are open beds in a women’s room doesn’t make any sense and felt uncomfortable.

The location is amazing. Right on top of the west peak in a temple. The sunset was amazing. The bed sheets haven’t changed and the overall cleanliness could be better, even if you are on top of a mountain. The toilets were a mess. If you just want to sleep there it’s okay. The stuff was friendly.

The location was amazing however I have never seen such disgusting toilets before and there was no shower which would be appreciated after a full day of hiking. The reception also didn't speak English.

This is a very basic hostel type accommodation with very few amenities but in a location that is hard to beat. Right next to the west peak in the same building as a temple with the trail going right through the building (under the reception/restaurant). The pictures are taken at sunset from the peak about 3 minutes from the hostel. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The hostel shares the public toilets in the building complex. If you are ok with very basic accommodations but are looking for location, this could be for you.

The location of the hotel was amazing. Right on the top of the mountains. We couldn't ask for better. However, as an hostel, the rooms are very simple and the toilets were located at the exterior. Must of them were not in operation when we went. Otherwise, the staff was kind and helpful.

Good place to stay on the west peak. Room are very simple but clean. Only the toilettes are really dirty. Food on the restaurant was delicious but because of the location not cheap. All in all a fair price value on a fascinating spot on top of the clouds.

Of course on the mountain they do not have showers, but it was affordable and the location is perfect just at the west peak

No toilet here. You may fall on frozen steps .

Okay stay at top if the mountain. However, as there is no running water it will be tough after hiking all day. Water bottle costs 11Yuan so

Very convenient for a stay

There is no water for washing, whether in the suite or the bed! Because of the lack of water, the toilet is smelly but fortunately it is clean! The bedding on the bed is quite clean, and there is no problem sleeping! The meals are hot, the price is expensive but understandable, the service attitude is OK, because there is only this one accommodation in Xifeng, and it is very happy to be able to fall asleep quickly after watching the sunset! Charging is very convenient, and there is a socket for each bed!
