Hotels with Breakfast in Huangshan

Very good service, my family encountered our passport/ID/bag self “sleep walking” problem, but the hotel was able to help us to relocate and retrieve them, very grateful! Staffs are extremely helpful and rapid response, will definitely recommended! Come anytime, if there is any trouble they will help !

Had a great time here, perfect location if you are planning to see the front mountain on day 1 and back mountain on day 2. Close to a few sunrise/set locations. The staff will help plan your route and give updates via WeChat on the weather conditions and sunrise/set timings. They even gave us a free room upgrade upon check-in to the newer ‘A’ block rooms. Breakfast and dinner (180 RMB/person) are buffet style and decent for a mountain top restaurant. Would highly consider if planning another trip here in the future.

The hotel was located halfway along the mountain, so it was really worth staying to take a break for the night. The service was top notch, was served at the reception area by（艳艳） she was really friendly and helpful and would send us weather updates/sunrise/sunset timings and the chances of seeing them and also answered all my questions via WeChat. She also gave us some free local snacks for our hike down. We had the buffet dinner in the hotel and for the price, the food selection was very impressive considering we are up in the mountain and the food/drinks were all hand carried by the porters (which you will see along the way). It has the local specialties, roast duck, fish, etc. There was no air-con but they provided an air cooler so it was cool still. Also, we went during Mid Autumn Festival and they even had a Dragon Dance in the hotel lobby and some performances (I think some were by the hotel staff). Was pretty amazing as it was rather misty and foggy that night but they still kept the mood and festivity going. Kudos to them! Although it is a little pricey for the hotel, but it was well worth it and considering the limitations the hotel has to deal with due to its location, I was really satisfied and would highly recommend!

This was my first visit to the famous Huangshan. My tour agent helped us book the entrance fee, cable car, and electric bus tickets. We needed to show our passports at every entry or boarding point, as the electronic tickets were linked to our passport numbers. The hotel we stayed at is a nice one, located right next to the Yuping cable car. However, be prepared to climb another 15 minutes to reach the hotel. We arrived early at 10 am, so our room was not available yet. We left our small backpacks at the hotel and trekked to the Bright Summit. Along the way, we saw monkeys and passed by the Baiyun Hotel. By the time we returned to Yupinglou Hotel, it was almost evening. The trek was scenic but very tiring, with many stairs. Our kind and helpful host, Yu Jian, from Yupinglou Hotel was in constant contact with us through WeChat and recommended places to visit. This hotel is closest to the Celestial Capital Peak, but I was too tired to climb it the next morning. I highly recommend climbing this peak and will do it if I have the chance to visit again. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay in. Don’t expect too many luxuries, as it’s located on top of a rugged mountain. Even the vegetables and food need to be carried by porters to the hotels, which is no easy task.

Although the price is definitely a little high, it makes sense for a hotel situated on top of a mountain. The public areas were bright and spotless. The room I booked was comfortable and mostly clean. The bathroom did have bits of black on the ceiling. Can’t beat the location though, as it’s close to a great spot to watch the sunset/sunrise. Appreciate especially the helpful service and timely communication from Kai at the front desk, who was also kind enough to share his photography of the night sky. I was able to get a few cool shots at a scenic outlook he had recommended. Maybe because I went a little late, but the dinner buffet was pretty mediocre. Overall a very good stay. Would book again, but maybe choose other food options.

Hotel service is very good. Front desk staff, especially Chloe, is very helpful. We requested for non-smoking room and they explained there’s no non-smoking floor in the hotel but they can clean up the rooms off smoke scent before handing to us. On checkin, they personally showed us to our room and asked that we inspect it before accepting. No request is too small. When we told them the room felt cold, they sent someone to help adjust the heater for us. We had a great stay!

I feel that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in for so many years. First of all, the room rate includes two tickets to Qiyun Mountain with a ticket price of 68 yuan + two breakfasts with a wide variety of varieties. Secondly, we were upgraded to Building 3 with better conditions for free before check-in. Then the hotel has its own golf course, which covers a large area. It feels like walking in a forest park when you get up in the morning. Finally, the front desk clerk Xiaoxi and Xiaoba are warm and thoughtful, and they also gave our children a cute plush toy before leaving.

The room was large and clean. After climbing Huangshan, we soaked in the hot springs. It was so refreshing. My parents were very very satisfied. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant on the first floor. They were very delicious. The stinky mandarin fish, hair tofu, and stone ear stewed chicken were the first time I tried Anhui cuisine. The taste was good and the price was affordable. I highly recommend it. On the way back, they arranged a car to take us directly to the high-speed rail station. It was faster than the tourist bus and the price was reasonable. It was very convenient to leave at any time. Before leaving, they also gave us Huangshan sesame cakes, which tasted better than what I bought myself. If I have the opportunity to climb Huangshan next time, I will definitely stay here again, and I will also recommend colleagues and friends to stay here.

It is 2-3 kilometers away from Tunxi Old Street, and you can walk to the riverside. The location is good. The room is very new and the size is suitable. I ate a small snack of Mo*su at the door. I read the introduction on the wall and knew it was a specialty of Huangshan. The breakfast variety is enough to fill you up. Not bad, recommended.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. From the quality of the hotel’s breakfast and location to the responsiveness of our assigned caretaker: 小河(XiaoHe). Upon arrival I added 小河’s WeChat and was shown - on a map - what I could expect to see given the length of our stay. I was even given information about the likelihood of a clear sunset/sunrise - and when my girlfriend needed it 小河 called the mountain clinic to purchase Pain killers! My favorite part of the hotel will have to be its location. It’s a 30 minute walk from YunGu cablecar, a 10 minute walk from a good sunset/sunrise spot!
