Popular Hualien 4-star Hotels

This is my fourth time staying here, but the only drawback is that I didn’t notice that the room type I booked was a delicacy room (that is, the room type with the smallest space). I didn’t notice it before (because the non-holiday prices were almost the same). After checking in, I discovered that If you book a luxury room directly from the hotel, the price is hundreds of yuan cheaper than on the website. I immediately contacted customer service, and of course the customer service also provided compensation measures. I hope that subsequent websites can more carefully check the room types provided by the hotel to avoid misunderstandings by users and a bad impression.

During the summer vacation, I took my family to Hualien to play and stayed at Tongmao Resort. I felt pretty good. I heard that the decoration was finished, so the room looked new, there were some small activities of bingo DIY, and there was also a starry sky cinema. It's just because it's far from the city, so it's more inconvenient to go out without driving.

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

This hotel location is very good and comes with free parking. Their service is very good. Nothing to complain on this hotel. Only thing if you like carpet flooring, this hotel doesn’t have that. Beside this is perfect!

The breakfast buffet was loaded with choices. I stayed there long enough to finally decide on my favorite breakfast, I thought. It wasn't too long before I changed things up again was never disappointed. Yes, the service and rooms were great too! Yes, this is my go to place when I'm in town again.

I have stayed here many times and the breakfast is always delicious and the rooms are great and clean! There used to be a lot of people dining at the restaurant, but after the earthquake, there were fewer guests. However, the overall service and food did not lose quality because of the lack of guests.

A nice hotel that is very conveniently located near the Hualien Bus Station (5mins walk) and Hualien Train Station (10mins walk) which means transportation around the area isn’t an issue. The room was clean and spacious - can fit two full-sized luggage comfortably with ample walking space. The service was very prompt as well - called front desk for more hangers and received them between 5-10mins. Wide variety of food for the buffet breakfast as well - porridge with condiments, toasts, cooked food. Would recommend this hotel for the transport convenience, good service and room size!

The hotel is very new, giving people a fresh, simple and fashionable feeling both inside and outside. The location is relatively hidden, so you have to drive yourself to get there easily. The fully self-service check-in is very novel, but the service quality is a bit poor. If you have any questions, there is no waiter to ask. The room facilities are very new and good, but please note that the hotel does not provide disposable personal items such as toothbrushes and shower caps. It is recommended to remind guests on the website or in the order confirmation remarks. What is particularly worthy of praise is that the hotel uses the famous brand ”Slumberland” mattresses and very good quality bedding, which makes it feel super comfortable. It can be said that it is one of the best mattresses and sleep quality among hotels I have ever stayed in. 🥰 👍👍

I was traveling around the island by bicycle. In order not to take the long journey on the Suhua Highway, I chose to ride to Xincheng at night. Unexpectedly, when I arrived in Xincheng, the accommodation was fully booked. I saw that the hotel had rooms available on trip.com, so I immediately made a reservation. Then I went over immediately. The staff was very nice. I didn't have a room originally, but she arranged a beautiful room for me. Although bicycles cannot enter the room, they can be parked in the hotel lobby, which is very safe. Although the toilet is not completely separated from wet and dry, it will not be completely wet after taking a shower. The water pressure is very stable and there is plenty of hot water. Xincheng Railway Station is right opposite the hotel, and the convenience store is just a few hundred meters away. It turns out that this hotel can also rent bicycles, and they are giant bicycles. The bed was very comfortable. If I didn't have to rush, I would have stayed a little later. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come back next time.

The overall cleanliness of the room is good, but the breakfast food is not very good. The carrot cake is cold, the oil for the omelette has a strong smell of fuel consumption, the kelp root has a strong chemical smell, and too much powder is added to the soy milk, which causes the concentration to rise. It's quite unacceptable. More than half of the shower head in the bathroom is blocked, and the shower gel rack is damaged and has not been repaired.
