The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. They tended to my needs as soon as I arrived at the Hostel. The place was very very clean and neat. Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The shower and bath was exquisite. Hot shower was very much needed after a long flight and they have it there. The place is very accessible and it’s just a 5-minute drive from Mactan airport and no traffic in the area.

I was waiting until midnight, just before midnight. The hotel is very close to the airport and is very convenient for stepover as its name suggests. around It's 5 minutes on foot from the Gaisano Mall. If you're a man, you can walk around the Gaisano Mall. The bed is just like that I think it is reasonable for the price. And the staff were kind and grateful.

The facilities are good , we sleep well in a room 😊 The kuya in a hotel is very good communications , i will recommend this on our friends.. And our is located at rooftop so we see a lot of city lights and bridge .

It is not the room we booked. It was a family room for 6 persons but they gave us a 2 rooms. It was okay but i hope they will do better. We had a shared bathroom. It is really better to have your own cr at your room.

KKenDucsEvery spot of the place was sanitized and elegant from its affordable price to stay near Mactan Airport. Even the hotel staff are so accommodating and polite. I'll definitely recommend this place, and will go back here, but with my family or friends 'cause I'm a bit scared to be alone in a huge room haha

KKocickasmomThis is a lot like a dorm. Basic rooms with bed, desk and tv. The phone didn't work. Ian said that a wire got cut accidentally and none of the rooms can use the phone. I couldn't get the TV to work. I couldn't get the shower to work. Took a cold standing bath the first night, splashing myself from the water spout in the tub. I did manage to get warm water the second night, and used one of the water glasses to pour water on my head. The bed was very comfortable, but the walls are thin so I could hear people talking, especially late at night. The breakfast was good, but cold. All the staff were nice, except the woman my first night. I had requested the airport shuttle (which was why I chose the hotel) for 11:30 pm when my flight arrived. I waited and waited. When I called the hotel, the woman said that the shuttle was broken. Ok, but I didn't get a message (and shouldn't there be a contingency plan?). She said to get a cab. I went to the queue and got one, almost half an hour after I arrived. Then when we got to the hotel, the driver said to 'just pay him what I want'. ***!? A man came out and took my bag up the stairs. I followed and entered the tiny lobby. The woman behind the desk immediately started making excuses about the shuttle, saying that I hadn't called, and that I had used the Booking.com website and I had actually reserved the room through Agoda. 1. I NEVER use Agoda. 2. Why would it matter which website I used? I told her that I had the emails confirming the shuttle. She said that she had sent the emails, but since she couldn't find my reservation, she didn't send the shuttle. (I had included my Booking.com reservation number in the email). Wow, 12:30 am and no 'Welcome', just an argumentative worker. The guy took me up to my room. I was getting ready to take a shower when I realized there were no towels, and I had no dial tone on the phone. I was getting dressed when the guy came back and gave me one towel. In the morning I went down to the front desk to ask about sightseeing. The woman was there and didn't say anything when I sat down in front of the desk. Another guest came and handed her their key. She spoke to them. She glanced at me briefly as she went back to doing something on the computer. I said Good morning. She replied and turned right back to the computer. I looked over to the guy who was standing nearby, with an incredulous look on my face. He said something to her and she finally seemed to realize that she had a customer. I told her that I wanted to sightsee. She asked what I wanted to do, I told her I didn't know what the choices were (this was a last minute trip). I asked if there was a place to to parasailing, since we were near the water. She Googled it and showed me the screen, asking which one I wanted. Well heck, I could Google and randomly pick a company! Another man had just come in and saw what was going on. He took over and asked me questions and made suggestions. He said he knew someone and

This is like a house of your favourite Aunt that you would look forward staying. You get what you pay for. Places such as this need not to be compared with hotels because we don’t compare our Auntie Annie’s house to a hotel. I took the smallest room available, about 6.5 sqm. The room is clean, tea and coffee in the room, survival snacks comes with a friendly price. The place is good for transient travelers as it is close to the airport. May not be suitable for a large family with kids. The location maybe a downside but once you’re in the compound you forget the outside world. Good common space for guests to convene and share experiences. The toilet is shared. It is clean and dry. The owners are friendly and easy to communicate. I highly recommend this place for sound people looking to stay at their Auntie Annie’s house. We are somehow a family in this world after all.

Hhatti_liuWe stayed for one night after a late flight into Cebu airport. The reception is actually for another accommodation provider called Clockwork Orange. The Spacepods are housed in a seperate building which appears to be largely unoccupied, but once you're in the room it's okay. The pods themselves are modern and there are singles and doubles unlike previous capsule hotels we've stayed in. While we were there, there was a power outage and we took a little while to find the manual door opener, so we were locked in the pods for a short time which was a bit claustrophobic. We were the only guests for the whole pod area which was a good thing as I can't imagine how cramped the common areas would be if it was busy. There's a small locker room to put your stuff but the lockers were too small for our suitcases. The shower area is small, with two toilets, two showers and four sinks. One of the showers blocked. Overall, a cheap place to stay for one night and I would stay again.

GGuest UserThis place is fabulous. Staff is top notch, very friendly and helpful. Some of the best food I’ve had in the Philippines. Lovely place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite drink. Clean swimming pool with seating around. Library with plenty of reading material. Large ceiling fans and standing fans to keep you cool in the garden room while you eat or sit at the bar. Easy to get a grab ride to airport or shopping malls. Looking forward to my next stay.

From the moment you arrive, you find that it's not just no-frills, but really cutting corners, including in regard to safety. It's new and it's clean, but there's little else that's positive. All rooms are upstairs and there is no lift, so not the place for you if you have mobility issues. Zero wheelchair accessibility, which is a disgrace for a new hotel. There are no blankets or bed coverings of any type except for a sheet. There's no fridge, no kettle, no safe. The pillows are high and hard, very uncomfortable. The photo of a standard hive double shows a window and proper desk, but that's not necessarily what you'll get. I had an internal room with a tiny fold-out desk attached to the wall. That's ok for an overnight transit stay, so at least I'd get a good night's sleep, right? Not quite. The walls are so thin and the halls echo so well that even in an interior room I was woken at 2am by the sound of barking dogs outside and could hear other road noise too. Given how far I was from the road, that is amazingly bad. There's also a window of the worst possible kind. It's above the door and there's no way to cover it, so light comes in from the corridor, especially in the morning. Breakfast was sausage or fish with fried egg and rice, plus some juice drinks. That was the best part of the stay and it's still below average. The shuttle to the airport was fine. The disturbing part was the fire exits. One is via a flimsy wooden door held shut by a big nail. Behind it is a set of stairs covered in rubble with no hand rail. You'd expect most people who try to run down those stairs to fall. The other fire exit is through a sliding glass door with a curtain across it!

FFishasfunFirst I must say that my GF and I have stayed at about 10 hotels on Lapu-Lapu Island. All budget or mid-range priced. All in the last 6 months. The AOSMEC is the lowest priced of the group. All other hotels were 2 to 3 times the price of AOSMEC. The simple truth is that my one week stay at the AOSMEC was the best!!!. Yes it is a basic Hotel with no frills or a pool. But if that's what you are looking for? This hotel is simply perfect. PROS: WIFI speed is extremely good since every floor as it's own router. The hotel is extremely clean. It simply is irreproachable. You always see someone cleaning morning to night. Cable TV is very good with brand new TV'S This hotel is Familly owned by phillipino's and they make sure clients are happy. So any issue that might come up. Is dealt with very quickly and correctly. The room cleaning is upon request but just ask and it's done quickly and perfectly! The owners completely understand what a budget traveller needs and they don't overcharge. You can get anything you need on a ”a la carte” basis. Example: we got some laundry done. The price was about 15% higher then doing it ourselves at a laundramat self serve service. If you factor in tranportion cost to get to and from the laundromat. It's less expensive through the hotel. WOW! The clientele is a mix of locals and foreigners. And all are happy with the rooms and services received. The hotel is soo well managed that it is expanding. About 20 rooms are being added. AND THESE ROOMS ARE NICER! 5 Rooms are 95% completed. I visited one. Cons: the restaurant is basic. It's geared more torwards the local clientele. But there are many good restaurants within walking distance and this should not be a concern. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel. Not even 30 seconds away. It is about 30 minutes away from the airport. Taxis are a bit more scarce but with the Grab app.(like Huber) that issue goes away. This place is the perfect budget hotel that actually beats out most mid range hotels at 3x the price. Dont hesitate and book. No worries here. Do not hesitate in.booking here. You won't regret

GGuest UserConvenient location if you need to overnight close to the airport. The best of the hotel is the customer service. The are at your disposition before and during your stay (they helped me to find the best way to get to the hotel by email, some hotels don’t even answer). The room is correctly equipped and you can see the sheets and the towel have been just changed. The bed is not comfortable at all but that’s my opinion and after all the service is the most important for me. Being so cheap you’d brace yourself to see the crummiest hostel ever but this was not the case at all.
