Outstanding
One of the top hostels I have stayed at. Everyone was incredibly lovely and went out of their way to make our stay really nice, particularly Firas. They are very helpful about organising day trips and transport to other places in Jordan. The hostel is walking distance from the main sites in Amman yet on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, which was nice. The terrace was a lovely place to unwind and meet other travellers in the evening. Overall, Carob Hostel is a wonderful place to stay in Amman, especially if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. We loved it so much that we made sure to come back to Carob for the last night of our trip!

Very Good
GGuest UserI loved the Cabin Hostel. I stayed only two nights, but they were just what I needed. The location is perfect. surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops, walkable to the citadel and theatre and souls. I checked in around midnight and there was no issue. I stayed in a private room, which was basic but clean and comfortable. Clean washrooms and showers (with hot water). 24hr access to filtered water, coffee, tea. I had breakfast on the first morning, which was fine, but the rooftop kitchen/hangout area is great. The dorms also looked good and comfortable - the kind that have proper privacy curtains. I would definitely recommend it.
I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 nights whilst visiting Jordan. The hotel itself is clean, beds are comfortable, AC works well and the shower hot which is what I look for when booking hotels. Check in was smooth and efficient (despite arriving at 0200) with a map of the local area provided and helpful, friendly service available 24/7. All staff encountered spoke a good level of English (as unfortunately I don't speak Arabic). Included breakfast was plentiful - on speaking to reception to say I would be leaving before breakfast time on a booked excursion we were offered a breakfast box to take with us. Hotel is really conveniently situated (opposite the Roman Theatre) which makes for some good photos if you get a room on that side of the building - this also makes it very easy for navigating and getting taxis back to the hotel. The hotel has many options for tours which can be booked by the staff on your behalf. One tour which I would recommend is the free (tip based) walking tour around the local markets. Ibrahim was knowledgeable and friendly and showed me all sorts of places in both the local old and new market which I would not have found alone including the most delicious fresh arabic bread and falafel which he describes as the best in Jordan - I'm not going to argue with him. Overall I was more than satisfied with my experience here and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Amman.
GGuest UserI would like to thank you all the staff of cliff hostel i started my trip to jordan with this hotel where i spent my 4 first nights and it was a very good option...the hotel is very well located close to the roman theater and rainbow street and in front you have hashem restaurant very cheap and famous with délicious jordan food.. i travelled alone and they helped me for everything i felt very well, safe and it is important...the staff is very polite, discreet and helpful...fouad the manager is a very kind person i did 3 tours whith him dead sea, désert castles, jerash...for a very very good value, almost 3 times cheaper than the other tour compagnies and fouad let me all the time i needed to take pictures, not pushy like group compagnies...I recommand a lot the hotel...my travel in jordan was successfull thank to cliff hotel...don t waste your time to find cheaper hotel , for the tours, for the transfert to airport...with fouad everything is clear and he does his best to help the guests.
