The hotel is due for some updates for sure, however, the room cleaners do a great job and are totally accommodating and sweet. As well, front desk is always on their game, helpful and friendly. The lobby has an incredibly knowledgeable tour booking guide, Nikki “ the facilitator”. She has been at the job for 7 years and knows her stuff. The hotel location is so convenient….. . Always lots to do and so many excellent restaurants in the hood….. good time had here!

Staff friendly and helpful. I had trouble booking online rate, one of the staff indicated that gave a discount for Ex-military/Military, assisted and booked the room for 3 more nites. Service was very good. Extra towels available and amenities provided as needed. Location was great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and more.

Apartments (condominiums) and hotels are integrated and not classified by floor or tower. Residents and long-term residents are mixed. There is a front desk, and spaces such as mailboxes are the same as in apartment complexes. There is a swimming pool, gym, sauna, barbecue, convenience store, water server, and laundry on the 6th floor. Gym costs $5 extra. No housekeeping due to corona. Towels can be exchanged at the front desk. Inadequate room cleaning. Rather than calling it a hotel, it's better to think that some rooms in an apartment are treated as a hotel. You can't enter the building without a card key, and the gatekeeper is stationed separately from the front desk, so security is normal. Because it is an AQUA system, you can enter HoMA and Bishop for free with a card key.

The Waikiki Agua Aloha Surf Hotel is a hotel close to Waikiki Beach, with convenient food, shopping, and public transportation. The hotel was provisionally scheduled because of the extended holiday season. With two children, I care more about space and decided to double bed. In terms of size, the price is okay. Our room had an ocean view. The sunset was beautiful, but because of the direction we were in we couldn't see the sunrise. The shower booth in the bathroom was a little small, and there was no stand to put things on. The floor hadn't been cleaned, and there was hair scattered everywhere, which was disappointing. The lighting in the room was also quite dim. Our impression was that the noise from the main street was louder than the sound of the waves. As a hotel, it may be better suited to people who have a lot of plans to be outside, as it is a place to sleep.

The room is relatively clean and has all the basic amenities. Because I was going to the volcano, I didn't pay to upgrade the sea view at the front desk. I booked through a third-party and thought I was getting a really good deal then a check in they charge another $30 for the resort fee this is common scheme to add value to their income and I will never ever book a hotel that charge of the resort fee because what the hell is that for.? This trip was for medical diagnostic purposes and not a vacation to Waikiki would never vacation to Waikiki. So the aqua hotel it's a little deceptive so my advice to travelers is to make inquiries about resort fees before you book good luck. I booked a room on the city side with no view and by doing that the room was much quieter than room is it face face Ala Moana Boulevard

A little distance from Waikiki Beach, the quiet of the hotel, the hotel's own beach is relatively small. You can see the Diamond Head Mountain, some sea views, and the scenery is not bad.
