Ah Shan Hostel

Everything is good, clean is ok, staff is good, easy walking distance to MTR, many restaurants around, it is safe. Room is big enough, only bad point is wifi very slow. I recommend 100%.

Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. Its a gem for us who travel in a budget with free hot and cold water , universal port for all your charging needs. Very accomodating staff and front desk, super convenient location, everything exceeded my expectations.

I booked a two separate single beds - I was given only one bed. I booked a room with a window- I was given one with no window.

Super tiny room, and not very clean either. It is what you should expect when booking a hostel in Hong Kong. A/C and hot water works fine and the manager of the hostel was super helpful in getting us settled in and answering any questions we had.

Just ok. Great area. I couldn't sleep when I stayed there 2 nights. The room upstairs children running all night.they stopped morning. I didn't mention to the hostel.

This is probably one of the better ones in Hong Kong given the price, quite value for money. However, the heater took a while to heat the water up and the toilet bowl couldn’t really flush very well, and there was always a weird smell from the toilet. The room is very small, only fit for one person to walk through. The window was opens to the common corridor so we never opened it, so it seemed like not having a window at all. There was also no boiler for water and you will have to take water from the counter. Overall it is a small and compact hostel located in an old building but decent enough and location is excellent, go here if you are on a budget and on a short trip!
