Building is very family friendly! Girdwood is a short, 35-minute drive from Anchorage along the picturesque Turnagain Arm. The valley is full of glaciers, mountains, streams, and trails. Skiing:Alyeska’s six chair lifts (two high speed quads) and one tram, and two Magic Carpets. The tram stops about ¾ of the way up the mountain at the mid-mountain facility with a cafeteria and the 4-star Seven Glaciers Restaurant and bar with amazing views of the inlet and the surrounding mountains.
