MMichael_Becker_I really enjoyed my stay at Heart Hostel. The owner and other guests there are quite friendly to us, some of them could speak English fluently and gave us a lot of useful advises for food and sightseeing in Zhengzhou. This hostel is located at a very convenient place in Zhengzhou, near the metro line 2 station Liulin. There is free drinking water in the kitchen, it has refrigerator and air conditioner, and wash machine as well. The rooms are very clean and quiet, we slept quite well.😊
Only a small problem🥺: It is a little difficult for us foreigners to find the hostel, it is marked Gaode Map, but we don’t have this app. We called the owner before arrival and he guided us from the metro station. To help you guys to find the hostel, I post a route map made by me, hope it could be useful.

CChifanzhuanyongtouxiangIn order to be more comfortable and reduce the time on the road, this trip has specially set up a relatively expensive homestay near Shaolin Temple.
The location is in the village next to Shaolin Temple, but this homestay has joined Moshang, the decoration is very good, there is a laundry room, self-service foot bath equipment, tea room.
Because it is two big and two small, I booked a star parent-child room for 2 nights, a double bed, one single bed, communicated in advance to let the store put the bedding on the tatami on the floor, the store had already packed it before we arrived, and turned on the air conditioner in advance.
The parent-child room is relatively spacious, with a separate washing machine, bathtub, men's and women's toilets, showers, open the door to the terrace, and the view is very good.
The terrace is public, but the table facing the balcony door of the parent-child room is dedicated. It is very comfortable and refreshing to get up every morning and look out the window.
The next night it didn't rain, bought kebabs and chicken wings from the store freezer, and barbecued on the balcony, and the child was very happy.
The value-added services provided by the store have free pick-up and drop-off from close attractions, which is really convenient.
Everyone's service is very good.

The front desk service is good, and I feel a sense of belonging. It is convenient to travel. The price during the May Day holiday is also very favorable, and the cost performance is high. The stay was very nice!
Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful. The breakfast room/reception is nice to relax at and there is also a living room when you enter the building were you can relax as well.
Try to get a room on a higher floor and you get some mountain views.
The owners are lovely and the husband is a somilier and gave us a glass of wine for free when we ordered dinner. You really need to try their food! It was really nice and so was the breakfast. We had dinner twice when we were there, try the sizzling beef and mushrooms.
The staff is really nice and helpful especially the owners brother that helped us a lot with everything! We will for sure stay here again when we visit Dengfeng. We did some really long hikes around Dengfeng and it is really worth it.

GGuest UserThis place is very close to the entrance of the Taishi shan in the Song mountain area. The house is clean and is tastefully decorated. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host. He interacted with me well and showed his collection of antiques.He is a positive and energetic person. For hiking Taishi shan, this place is an ideal base. Shaolin temple is a bit away but one can easily access Shaolin temple by taxi. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience.
Please remember that this is a home-stay and not a hotel. This is an ideal place to explore Songshan mountain area. I highly recommend this place.

KKaiputengyangIn fact, quite by chance, I arrived at this very mountain-like B&B. The boss has the style of a hermit. Although he doesn't talk much, he is very sincere. Objectively speaking, the details of the room are very good, and the linens are all hotel-level. Although there was a slight problem with bath water, it was quickly resolved.
It's very quiet here, except for the sound of wind and cicadas, there are only the sounds of kittens and dogs. There is a path leading into the mountain at the back. The lack of water during the dry season is probably the only regret. This place is connected to standard provincial highways and standardized roads. At the end of the road is the parking lot of the B&B. When you reach his house, your mobile phone will lose signal. Just connect to the boss's wifi as soon as possible. It is less than a 25-minute drive from Shaolin Temple, Zen Shaolin and other famous attractions. Even if you dine late in the city, you can get back here in no time. The road passing by Tangyao Village is quite bumpy for a while, and the traffic problem should not delay it for too long. The direct route to here is actually in the mountain nest. It is quite pleasant to live quietly for a few days and enjoy the tranquility between heaven and earth. The parent-child room for a family of four is quite satisfactory, but next time, I want to experience the private courtyard. I look forward to having a tea party with the boss next time. Tips: The last two are recommended by the boss, the Chu Zu'an Main Hall, and the Yongtai Zen Temple near the B&B. As a lover of ancient architecture, it is a worthwhile trip to appreciate the ancients while raising children. 🤣

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.
