Emeishan Homestays

I wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

The room is very clean and the supporting facilities are complete! The lady boss is also very enthusiastic and will answer every detail and give suggestions. The location here is perfect when going to Mount Emei for hiking!

Very considerate and attentive. Because we didn't arrive at the hotel until 12:30 at night, the boss had already arranged the reception and prepared the wake-up service for the next morning. The next morning, when I came down from the Golden Summit, I saw the picturesque floor-to-ceiling windows, which was very beautiful and comfortable! I slept well for an hour and quickly recovered my strength. The room was clean and tidy and very comfortable. A very good experience, worth recommending 👍👍👍.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was perfect right in between the start of the mountain and the small town with plenty of restaurants. The rooms were stunning and clean with many amenities that all worked perfectly. We deeply appreciated the coffee machine in the room as well as the tea and filtered water! The service was incredible and the staff really went out of their way to accomodate any of our requests or needs. They turned on the hottub every evening at 6:30 so it would be filled for us once we returned! Not to mention the breakfast was the best breakfast i’ve tried in all of China! Thank you for making my birthday so special. Highly recommend !

The hotel really amazed me. It has a modern and simple style, and the whole house is smart and very convenient. The sanitation is also very clean. The stay experience is great. The hotel is only about 100 meters away from the passenger transport center, and it is very convenient to take a bus up the mountain. The front desk lady Xiao Li was very considerate and made an appointment for a station drop-off service for us. ❤～～Next time I come to Mount Emei, I will stay here again.

This was an unexpected surprise. I originally thought that the Baoguo Temple stop for the sightseeing bus to Mount Emei was at Baoguo Temple, so I booked an accommodation very close to Baoguo Temple. I didn't know until I got there that the place where I took the sightseeing bus was still a long way away. But this famous hotel gave me an unexpected surprise. First of all, the boss was very nice and generous. We were going to stay at Jinding for one night on the 20th, and the boss let us park at his house for free, which touched us. Secondly, the price of more than 100 yuan also included breakfast for three people, which was a good deal. The courtyard was decorated very attentively and uniquely. The size and facilities of the room were really good at this price in the scenic area. It was a satisfactory stay. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures.

If you are looking for an escape from the overwhelming cities (too much traffic, neon lights, noises, pollution…) you will find here a corner of paradise. The cozy atmosphere will make you breathe out all the stress immediately. The main presence of natural elements for the interior and exterior design, such as wooden and rocks, let this place integrate very well in the surroundings. Nature is the main presence here: you are surrounded by the woods, waking up only listening to birds singing. If you decide to walk the emei mountain and have sore muscles, you can enjoy the hot spring bath directly in your room. Your muscles will thank you the day after. The breakfast is done in a room where there is a huge long table, you might share it with others. This makes the atmosphere very familiar and friendly. Despite not speaking Chinese, we were welcome and felt home. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area.

Room and location meet my travel need. It is just less than 10mins walk to the main ticket counter and main tourist bus stop. The boss was very helpful and I’m thankful for his info, guidance and recommendation to make the best of my time to see Emeishan. Their own small little restaurant cooked up some delicious local meals

The room was very clean and the big bed was very comfortable. We booked a triple room that could sleep four people. The small courtyard was very romantic! The rice noodles we ordered for breakfast were very delicious! The boss's service attitude was super good. My friend was carsick when we came down from the mountain, so the boss sent us to the high-speed rail station. He stopped the car on the way to let us get off and buy ice cream. He said it was more expensive to buy at the train station. It was cheaper to buy on the way! So thoughtful!

First, when we checked in, the front desk assistant, Xiao Zhu, took the initiative to upgrade us to a room with a hanging basket. The children loved it and didn't charge extra. The courtyard in the public area was a highlight, with complete facilities. Another front desk assistant, Xiao Zhang, also brought us afternoon tea, which was very thoughtful. The hot springs were very good, and the children had a lot of fun playing there. The location is good and very convenient for those who are climbing from Baoguo Temple. A small suggestion: the breakfast could be more abundant.
