Outstanding

One mistake ruined our fun family trip. The hotel service and the staff were wonderful. I'm sure they had a pleasant stay.
However, they didn't check the food allergies that we had requested twice in advance, and as a result, my daughter's condition suddenly worsened after the dinner appetizer.
She was taken to Yamanashi Prefectural Central Hospital by ambulance.
She was able to return to the hotel that same day, but she was not allowed to take a bath, and could not have breakfast the next morning, and she was in a coma during her stay at the hotel.
Since she was unable to have dinner or breakfast, we were offered a refund, which we received, but I cannot understand why she came to a resort, was taken away in an ambulance, and instead of feeling refreshed, she became even more tired, and we were charged the full accommodation fee. We spent half of our stay in the ambulance.
We were exhausted and had to change our plans the next day to return home early.
I hope the hotel understands that one oversight ruined our family's summer vacation.
I went there after cherry picking. Although the weather looked rainy, the scent of the forest made me feel relieved. This was a renovated pension complex, with the check-in lobby, public bath, and shop located in a nearby hotel (or maybe?), and it was an interesting structure that felt like a remnant of the bubble economy. The room had a nice scent of plain wood and was a comfortable place to spend time. The most amazing thing was when I went for a walk in the surrounding forest during a break in the rain, I saw a wild deer looking at me! It seems that it left a strong impression on the children, and even though it has been a year, they still remember it well. When I went there, a lot of new buildings were being built, so I wonder if some of them will be opening this year.
