The cleanliness is average. There is a layer of dust on the bedside table. The shower does not work well. The water column is scattered and weak. I reported it to the hotel and they sent a maintenance worker to dismantle the shower to clean it and then reinstall it, but it didn't work. I asked to change the room and they said that changing the room is an upgrade and the price difference needs to be added.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Platinum elite status was recognized at check in and Javier made us feel so welcome at the property. Room was upgraded to a beautiful river view room and the hotel sent a nice birthday surprise to the room. Brunch at Halifax and drinks at Living Room are always a wonderful treat! Looking forward to returning real soon! :)

Wildly over priced. Room was large and had a spectacular view of the NYC skyline. That said peeling paint and discolored calk in tub. So-so bed. Horrific “music” throughout the lobby/bar area that made it unusable. Staff was nice, but this place is a monument to bad taste and greed. Need to park a car? $50 extra per night. Never again. Try the Holland Hotel. 1/3 the price and a cleaner room with a better bed. Free parking. No view? Worth the trade off.

Spent 3 nights at this property while in town for a work event. Usual décor and feeling of a W hotel. Lucky to receive a higher floor room with a partial River view. Always nice to see the NYC skyline. Sleeping room was on the larger size with nice sized windows. Room felt a bit tired (needed fresh paint, new flooring, stains on the chair) but also think the hotel is slowly updating rooms. The bathroom however looked recently updated. Mixed bag I guess. In room fridge was perfect to store snacks. Great location – just a few blocks from the train station and the PATH for quick access to Jersey City and NYC. Read other reviews that property can be noisy but not an issue – perhaps since I stayed mid week.

Nice property. The front desk staff was friendly -- my room wasn't ready but I got a suite upgrade with terrace and they were super nice about it. The views are INCREDIBLE. Honestly, the best views of the city are from this area and they are right on it. AND location is very close to all the bars and restaurants. BUT bc it's a couple blocks off it's quieter. I have stayed here before and will again if in the area. Great location. If you are going into the city the PATH train is very good.

Great service, great location and beautiful views. Wonderful waterfront walkway! Rooms very nice, room service was excellent. Great car service recommended, these guys were top notch! Our king size bed seemed small, but bed was comfy. Enjoyed our stay, charming city of Hoboken, all the things you need and close.

We stayed for one night and were impressed by the location. We love Hoboken, and everything is within walking distance. The location is truly perfect. However, I was astonished by the condition of the room. Given the high cost and the “W” name, it is clear that the rooms need significant renovation. The headboard was filthy, the desk chair was extremely worn, and the curtain was broken. Additionally, the furniture showed a tremendous amount of wear, the sheets had a questionable stain, and the carpet was not clean. Honestly, it was quite a disappointment compared to other W Hotels. Hopefully, they realize their rooms need a deep cleaning.
