Family-friendly Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City

Tony and Hannah was awesome during the stay! I’ve had enjoyed their breakfast, how welcoming they are and most importantly Tony cooks great scrambled eggs! 🤣 The hotel is extremely clean, house keeping was constantly given. Wide variety of breakfast with juice and water, vending machines which can solve your needs and you could even clean your laundry with their laundromat here. Payments are easy using your room card and no need to carry cash around.

The highlight of this hotel is the view! It’s a beautify hotel with awesome view of HCM city if you stay at their high floor panoramic view room. Location wise it is located within the high end private apar**ent district which is slightly further from the city center. Grab ride took about 10mins - 15mins to reach the city center where all the major attractions are located. Beside the shopping mall which is link to the hotel and the park, there’s nothing much around this area. Overall a very nice property if you want to stay outside the bustling district 1 while not being too far away from the city center.

Great hotel, convenient location, good for work trip. Suggest to stay nearer to city center if you are help for travel! Staff dropped my giraffe and didnt pick it up tho!

Breakfast doesn't taste really good compared to other five stars hotel. When checked out, we are asked to pay for some missing hangers. But that's ridiculous because we were not asked to check the number of hangers when checked in. Honestly I also never have this experience of hotel asking for payment due to missing hangers, let alone five star hotel

Stayed 2 nights here out of 4 nights in saigon. I must say this hotel is more expensive but less than a satisfactory experience. The lobby is much smaller than expected. Rooms are also small and noisy. Neighbor banging doors. kids running outside. outdoor singing non stop until 11 pm. the only positive is the breakfast which is slightly better than Mai house but overall price ratio is still much behind. Maybe more suited to the younger tourists who enjoy loud music and rooftop bar but not for me. Mai house out perform in every way.

My stay for 6 days with The Reverie Saigon was truly Dream. Not only the location and extravagantly luxurious decoration of the hotel, the gist of the dream was the Hotel staffs' human attitude and delicate communication. The staffs were always ready for my demand: anything from cleaning, reservation of outing, dressing me up, in-room meal.... In particular, pre-communication by email on my schedule, Ms. Duong Le (Concierge Team) was excellent and flawless in her arrangement of my demanding requests. I felt sorry for consuming her much time and energy. Ms. Duong Le was absolutely patient, as I know I am myself haughty, boastful and sometimes naughty customer. I really thank other nice people. I remember a guy at the bar with whom I talk of happiness of human being. (I forget his name!) But I would like to point out a person, a cleaner of my room, Ms. Uyen who kindly sewed my button with charming smile. And I must also mention the SPA on its gorgeous atmosphere, tranquility and esthetician's supreme skill. ”Thank you all” is my message here. I hope I will visit again. Jennifer CHOU

This was our second time staying at Sherwood Suites, the first time was in 2019. Our experience this time was just as wonderful. Honestly this has got to be the best hotel in HCMC. It’s worth the extra cost for sure. Our family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed in the Grand Suite which had two bedrooms plus a spare bed in a study nook/large cupboard. Beds are gloriously soft and comfortable, I’m fairly sure they fill the pillows with clouds, the rooms have the fastest wifi known to man, climate controlled quiet air-conditioning, a laundry with washer and dryer, a great kitchen with excellent size fridge, a great living dining area with a couch and table, tons of storage, two palatial bathrooms, and two tv’s with all the modern features (on our main bedroom tv airplay wasn’t working as I’m not sure the tv was connected to the same wifi network as our phones, but you know, first world problems 🤣). The hotel has a fantastic under cover but open air pool which looks small and dark in photos but really is gorgeous and large in real life. It also had a spa/jacuzzi and gym next door, plus a games room for small children, and a pool/billiards room for older ones. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast, where you have a small selection of pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit and juices (real squeezed orange juice included), then also has a menu where you order as many cooked breakfast items as you like. You can also order a proper latte/tea/coffee as part of the buffet breakfast. The only improvement I can suggest is the rooms didn’t have a guide that told how this worked (there was a small guide on the tv but it mainly listed the services and times), so it was a little confusing working out that we ordered meals on top of the buffet spread at first, mainly as this is unique to Sherwood. The meals were so delicious it’s also worth having lunch or dinner here too, on the pricey side of course but absolutely worth it! Suggestion: It would be great if guests could order room service via an app, the website, or the tv menu, as this would avoid any language confusion and would be lovely for those that don’t feel too social. Staff were excellent, they really go above and beyond! All had really great english and were super friendly and helpful. The manager was always available to help out and offered great suggestions of things to do and see. Nothing was ever a bother, we arranged a tour and a few taxi’s via reception, and a late checkout for one of our rooms for an additional small fee, they handled everything perfectly and it really made the end of our trip a total highlight. Sherwood is very conveniently located in District 3, near lots of places to eat, a million coffee houses, a short walk to a few of the larger shopping centres and undercover market, as well as the war museum, beautiful old Saigon Central Post Office and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (cathedral). Wir haben hier 5 Nächte in einer Park Suite verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sah jedoch auf den Bildern anders aus. Wir hatten anscheinend eine Eck-Park-Suite. Der Park ist auch eher versetzt nach rechts als direkt davor. Ein verlängertes recht kahles Stück „Park“ vor dem Hotel ist eingezäunt und eine Baustelle. Auf unserer Etage (8.) gab es noch 7 weitere Zimmer. Wir waren direkt am Fahrstuhl gelegen. Generell sind die Flure sehr klein. Wir dachten erst es würde laut aber dem war überhaupt nicht so. Auch im Zimmer hört man hinter den dicken Fenstern lediglich ein Hintergrundrauschen (Straßenlärm). Dass die Badezimmer im Zimmer sind und nur mit Glas verkleidet ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es gibt im Hotel aber genug Ausweich-Toiletten um sich gegenseitig mal etwas Privatsphäre zu geben. Wasserhahn an und nicht umdrehen geht für kleine Geschäfte auch :). Schlimmer fanden wir, dass der Vorhang an den Fenstern nicht die komplette Front bedeckt, weil so morgens genau auf das Kopfende die Sonne geschien hat. Das kann man nachbessern, da die Vorhangschiene ja bis hinter läuft. Das Bett war super. Schön fest und groß. Das Houskeeping war sehr gründlich. Es war alles super sauber. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr jung und nett. Das Gym und der Pool, so wie es auf den Bilder präsentiert wird, gibt es so nicht mehr. Der Pool der eine größere Plastikwanne ist, wird 18 Uhr abgedeckt und die Gesamte Dachterrasse in eine Bar verwandelt.. eher Shisha Lounge. So ziemlich jeden Abend ertönt ohrenbetäubend laute Musik.. ohne Gäste (da keine Promotion). Die Lounge wurde erst vor 4 Wochen eröffnet.. fanden wir nicht einladend, war auch immer leer.. gehört nicht direkt zum Hotel. Scheint eine Art Kooperation oder Einmietung. Wir fanden, dass sie so gar nicht zum Hotel passt. Sollte man überdenken. Der schöne Fitnessraum musste deswegen vom Rooftop weichen und ist nun in einen SO schlimm kleinen. Raum in der 11. Etage verfrachtet worden, dass die beiden Laufbänder gerade so nebeneinander passen. Das wars! Keine Handtücher, kein Wasser, kein Platz. Sehr enttäuschend, weil wir auch das in unsere Hotel-Entscheidung einbezogen hatten, mal Sport machen zu können. Tagsüber werden dann 3 Sonnenliegen irgendwie an den Pool ran geschoben. Alles nicht einladend.. und das für so eine Lounge die keine Gäste anzieht und wahrscheinlich mehr Gäste ärgert als anspricht, da der Bass bis nach Mitternacht durchs Gebäude geht. Über uns in Etage 9/10/11 wo die großen und teuren Suiten sind muss es noch schlimmer sein. Wer gibt so viel Geld aus um dann unfreiwillig und unvorgewarnt die ganze Woche so beschallt zu werden. Man sollte eine Chance haben darüber informiert sein zu können, wenn sich Dinge im Hotel so maßgeblich ändern, als im Internet dargestellt. Das Restaurant in Etage 12. ist nicht in betrieb.. das Café in der Lobby auch sicher wegen fehlender Frequenz nur auf Sparflamme. Insgesamt waren diese Dinge enttäuschend und vermitteln einen traurigen Eindruck. Die Lage ist

My family and I had a lovely experience staying at the hotel. The hotel's proximity to the airport made it an ideal choice for our trip. The on-site restaurant boasted a mouthwatering breakfast spread, featuring a mix of European and local dishes to cater to various tastes. The restaurant's kids' play area and the painting activity for older children were thoughtful touches that our family appreciated. Exploring the local area, we discovered some restaurants and shops nearby, which was a pleasant bonus. Our room was perfect for a family of four, with comfortable sleeping arrangements for our children. The outdoor pool area was a highlight, complete with a beautifully landscaped green zone. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

During a delightful week with my family at Sedona Suites, we experienced remarkable warmth and hospitality from the entire staff.
