HOTEL LiVEMAX Hiroshima Funairimachi Riverside - Photo Gallery

I checked in on 1 December ( 9pm) with reservation on smoking room (did not notice during reservation). After entering the room it smell bad. Then i realised that it was smoking room. Only then I realised i made mistake on my reservation. As i am having asthma, i went to receptionist to request change to non smoking room. Initially he said the room not available. After show him there are many rooms available on trip.com with same prices, he said i need to request through website. Then i made request to cancel my booking and plan to rebook again to non smoking room on the same hotel. After the website negotiated with him, he then went to checked the room. We inform him that we only use the toilet. After he checked, he said i cannot change the room because i already use the bathroom. From what i see, there is no trace of any usage, but he said i still cannot change the room. Further more if I want to be nitpick, I can complain about the cleanliness of the room. I can see trave of dust and stain. In the room and toilet. If this happen with another hotel, im sure they willingly to change the room due to my health condition. I felt the hotel especially the receptionist did not prioritize and consider their customers wellbeing enough. Over my 3 years stay in japan, this is the first bad experience ever. I will not recommend this hotel because the behavior of the staff.

The price, location, facilities, and scenery are excellent. There's a large supermarket nearby, and the prices are very cheap. Milk, ice cream, and UCC coffee powder are all very cheap in China.

The room is small but adequate for two people. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, and kettle. The hotel is 20-30 minutes from the Peace Memorial Park. Public transportation is nearby. Hiroshima Station is 30 minutes away. Self-check-in and check-out are available, although the reception is open 24 hours a day.

Very cost-effective. It is best to choose a non-smoking room. It is next to the river. The view is very beautiful. There is a microwave. Breakfast is put in a bag for you to take away. It is a very cost-effective hotel. The service is also OK. It is a bit difficult to communicate in English

Right by the river, you can walk by the river, but the weather was a bit cold and it was snowing... It made me shiver. Check out was also efficient, which was ok.

Easy access and convenient. The area is in a love hotel district, which is a bit off-putting. There are no restaurants nearby. It's better to eat somewhere else before coming.

Hiroshima Station takes 30 minutes by train, which feels a bit far, 300 meters from the nearest tram station. The room facilities are good and complete. I especially like that each room has a microwave.

The hotel is located by the river with a great view. It is a new hotel with no decoration smell. The hotel is also very clean. It is very cost-effective and I am very satisfied.
