It takes about 50 minutes to an hour to get from the airport to the hotel. It was easy to find the Grab because I had read reviews that the car couldn't come in and would be parked outside. You could see it when you walked into the alley. When we arrived, the service staff initially arranged a room type that was not ours. I realized that there was no window but I had booked a room with windows so I raised the issue immediately. They confirmed that the room was leaking and was fixed an hour later. After that, I came back and moved back to my original room. The waiter kept saying sorry to us that the hot water was not ready in the end, but it was okay as we only stayed for one night. The city is nearby and it is very convenient to go anywhere. We booked a trip to Halong Bay the next morning. The waiter apologized again. It was really nothing. I am very grateful to the service staff. We didn’t have a Vietnamese charger, so they lent me two. The bed was very comfortable. Although it was in the city center, it was very quiet at night. Very good

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and willing to listen to my poor English. Even though I was worried about it, I broke it from my wallet. Perhaps because we were cleaning with a small staff and we were waiting for guests who checked out late, we recommend that you arrive an hour before check-in at 2:00, leave your luggage, and go sightseeing at the lake. I was told that it would take about an hour again when I returned after about two hours just in case, and I was angry. In fact, the day before, I was double-booked at the airport hotel and moved to another terminal. I had just rolled my suitcase and walked for over an hour on the occupied sidewalk, annoyed. Actually, I didn't have enough time left to take a walk, so I took a rest on a chair by the Hoan Kiem Lake. I usually give priority to the other person's convenience, but when I complained that it was too late !! Looking at the room, although it is spacious, there is nothing, the TV has no channels, the electric pot does not reach the outlet, and the bath is only a shower without a bath tub... It is spacious. There is no window... It's cheap, but you should avoid the windowless room on the 2nd floor. As expected, when I told the front desk, I immediately came with me to check it, and because the TV was not reflected, I brought a different TV from another place and attached it to the wall. The pot pulls the stand under the TV, plugs it into the outlet below, and puts it back in again. I'm a nice person, but... Breakfast was good. The top floor of the Backpacker Hotel, which is a little far away, takes the elevator up to 8 times, and then you have to go up the stairs to the 2nd floor, so be prepared. Don't get lost because you will be returning alone. A young brother who looks like a part-time job sent me without a nasty face. I wish I could have stayed in a better room... This is my impression. I could hear the voice of the front desk all the time, so it was really good to bring earplugs. "They're really nice people." perhaps.

I stayed for a short day and it was good because it was close to the beer street, but it was closed at night so I had to wait until I got back to wake up, but I was still satisfied with the price.

It's just right for the price. If water doesn't come out, contact the front desk and it comes right out. It's on the 8th floor, but the elevator goes up to the 7th floor, so you have to walk up and the furniture is very old. I traveled alone, so I stayed comfortably. I ate at another hotel about 3 minutes away.

Be careful when asking the staff to arrange an airport taxi! 300,000 VND wasted. I used the Grab app during my trip to Vietnam, and I was thinking of using the app to arrange a taxi to the airport when I returned home, but the staff said I would arrange it and wouldn't listen (half forcibly). So, well, it's a hotel, so I thought I wouldn't be ripped off, so I made a request. When I entered Vietnam, it was about 400,000 VND from the airport to the hotel by Grab, but the staff agreed to arrange for 300,000 VND, and I paid the fee the day before check-out. I wanted to keep proof of payment, so I asked for a receipt and was given it. (In the end, it didn't help at all.) I checked out the next morning, but the staff who paid the taxi fare the day before was asleep and was absent, so I was dealt with by another part-timer who was sleeping on the sofa in the lobby. I'm sleepy, but I'm quite suitable (I didn't even ask if I don't return the room key from here), and at the taxi meeting place that I had reserved the day before, I was told something I didn't understand in Vietnamese, and I gave instructions with my fingertips. I was in a situation where I didn't know which one to take while the taxis were stopped. When I tried to check with the young man again, he was nowhere to be found. . . In the end, I ended up taking a different taxi and ended up paying 400,000 VMD to the driver separately. I don't expect Japanese level response, but I have to say that the taxi response this time is too appropriate. I sent an email about this, but never got a reply. Hotel facilities and cleanliness are reasonable for the price. (There are some stains on the sheets and a little black mold in the bathtub, but I think it's not a problem if you're not a fastidious person.) The location is good for walking around the old town. This kind of thing happened just before returning to Japan, and it feels like something.

It's a place where taxis can't enter, so after getting off the car, walk about 20 meters. However, it is quiet at night thanks to being a little away from the busy streets. It takes about 4 minutes to walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, and there are many fruit sellers nearby, so I would like to stay again if I come to Hanoi. The staff doesn't speak English that well, but they try their best to communicate. Correspondence was kind, too. The inside of the hotel is clean.
